I kinda hope blowout shelters won't be handed out everywhere in LA, it was so cool and tense in the NPP levels during freeplay, if **** goes down you're pretty surely ******.

Will this go smooth on graphic cards like gf 9600, old 8800 or any kind of gt 240?
not on max graphics, but it will run fine. the level has ca. 8million polys, and 3x bigger than cop zaton.

8 million!? Nice. You guys increased what the engine could originally handle, eh? I heard it was around 3.6 / 3.7 million (I might ofc. be wrong so correct me if I am!)

I thought it was the Cordon just with expanded borders.
dez said it's 3x bigger than CoP Zaton, so I don't think it's Agroprom. Still... really hard to guess lol.

This is so immersive. That is quite a picturesque landscape, as if it came from a painting of the natural zone.
Is possible to implement grass shadow like SoC under patch 1.004 ?
It's already there ;)
But It hits performence even on pretty decent rigs - well depends on which grass density you set =) But grass shadow is mostly worth few FPS lower render speed=)
What is the grass draw distance? 150-200?

That's alot of grass. Still no CryEngine, but who cares? Very atmospheric.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Now we can finally experience S.T.A.L.K.E.R as we saw it in the cinematics, artwork and so-on. For a guy who was delighted by the size of CoP maps, this is just bliss :)
