This member has provided no bio about themself...
yes, it does.
1) there are minor bugs with stirk, all of which are easily fixable.
2) yes, it does not interfere with anything in cyrodiil.
if you dont like it dont play it, simple as that :/
No, there is no war between any of the provinces. additionally, massive armies are impossible to do without completely killing FPS.
there will be plenty of battle, but on a smaller scale.
Well, we did release Stirk around that time, that may be what its referring too. To be honest, i have no idea how to change that :/
Nope, for Oblivion we are only doing the province of Hammerfell. the Morrowind side of our project does however re-create the rest of Morrowind. if you want to see Morrowind in Oblivion there are several mods that do that to varying degrees.
both silgrad tower and Hammerfell take place in completely different worldspaces, so there will be no conflict what so ever :) in fact, Hammerfell should not conflict with any mod.
Yep, we are working on Hammerfell ;)
Rihad is a closed city, it is in fact made up of several world spaces. Taneth is also closed but only one world space. open cities are simply impractical because they greatly slow down the game unless the user has an uber PC. doing cities closed gives us greater freedom in detailing both the cities and the wilderness. Rihad is much more detailed than the original cities, we would not have been able to make it such with an open layout.
I actually prefer smaller, more detailed games like oblivion and morrowind to daggerfall and arena. the early games were massive but they were proceduraly generated and generally boring. i'd like to see Bethesda focus on doing a small but highly detailed and exciting world as opposed to all of Tamriel in a sloppy or non detailed fashion.
It is an add on accessible through several border forts and a cave from cyrodiil.
its right there on the right side, under "official page." duh.
sorry, i dont check this often. if you want to see progress and stuff you should probably head over to our webpage, it has a blog and forums, and shows progress a whole lot better then this page. any downloads will also be there, though hammerfell has no yet been released.
hey there Inquisitorfelix, you sound like a great contribution to our team :) head over to our forum and register. then you should make a post in the showcase showing us what you can do. for writing, you can post one of your tameriel themed stories. for modeling, you should upload one of your models. our modelers (such as aro, jellew, and morden) would be more then happy to help you out and help you hone your skills. i know that aro has 3ds, so he should be able to teach you how to use it well.
i hope to see you soon!
Because were still working on it ;)
Stirk is mostly done, were just fixing a few errors on quests. however, our OB quest man is very busy with real life so its taking a while. In the meantime were making steady progress on Hammerfell.
Eventually ill get around to updating the ModDB with new images and info, but at the moment i too am quite busy.
We always need new team members, so you're more then welcome! Please head over to the forum and post a thread in the Showcase forum with examples of your work :)
we dont like to give estimates due to their uncertainty. there is a lot of progress being made -- both cities are being worked on for example -- so some kind of early relz version is on the way. Stirk is nearly done. all that remains is fixing a few quest bugs and voice acting.
In the end, it all depends on the speed of the modders. So if you want this released fast I suggest you join our team :)
Nope, it is compatible with already started files.
In game? Stirk can be downloaded from our site and is off the west coast of Cyrodiil (a little ways off from anvil). Hammerfell has not yet been released to the public.
This one is for oblivion, hence it is in the oblivion section (one would also hope that the graphics gave it away...)
there is however a morrowind part of the TR project, focused on rebuilding the rest of the morrowind province.
help is always appreciated! just head over to our forum and start a showcase to show us what you can do
Sadly, LotR scale battles with thousands upon thousands of actors are simply not posible. Even if there is absolutely no terrain or anything it would still crash the game before one could get to a truly epic scale.
I do think that we will probably have some nice sized battles, but its realy too early to decide.
this is most often a conflict with OOO. however, make sure that you have bounderies turned off in the ini (this may help). if this is a conflict with OOO however, head over to the forums, you will get a response there quicker.
actualy, its morning comes :P
did you install it correctly? thats the only thing i can think off. i would sugest posing in the error reporting part of our forum, since you will get more responce there. Also, we are not using that land for many reasons. for one thing it dosent match the map. the bigger issue is that its not compleat and the game engine resticts us from building more then 6x6 quads (the area the OB landscape ocupies). so we have made a whole different worldspace and land. screenshots of it can be seen at my mini-site here: Ladyn.tamriel-rebuilt.org
and yes, we arent dead :) infact we are quite living (just read the main page for rather frequent updates)
lady N thinks that an OB mod needs to win an award ;)
lady N thinks she shall link to her mod now: Moddb.com
lady N thinks that MOTY is a terrific thing and that she needs to stop talking in 3rd person (its the rain i tell ya!).
pen and paper first, color in photoshop.
i would say the same. besides, dune dwelers are not obsesd with decoration. its the usability wich counts :devious:
that is an old pic before we chose the color we wanted.
HERE is the color we chose: Img87.imageshack.us
The pure exitement of the release that your modding is helping to bring closer usualy does it for me. though coffee is definatly a close second
2 of the mods that you (TES_chrisse) watch are also province rebuilds.
dont you know not to believe the stupid rumors that are not true? ;)
beth is NOT releasing a expansion with a whole new province.
some very good points are made, this is a great tut for those who are just starting. it totaly upsets me when a good mod pulls a bad PR move...
spelling errors are the reason tamriel rebuilt dosent let me PR :P
