I'm looking forward to seeing this mod in person! One quick question, are you guys planning on using a vanilla-style damage system or a realistic damage system? I.e, when a squad goes over the top, are they going to get mowed down or just pinned?
(buried)
So... is this actually legit? Because a LOT of those skins/ models look VERY familiar, and there are at least 2 other Pacific theater mods in development that I know of...
Looks like a Scorpion from Halo with a King Tiger turret...
Looks like a cross between a T90 and an M1
That **** looks like a siege tank from Starcraft, lol.
Why the hell are people so impressed by these pictures? Pimp My Gun does all of the work for you, there's no drawing or modeling involved whatsoever. You just drag accessories onto pre-made images of real world guns.
Pimp My Gun. It's a click and drag weapon customization tool.
Yep, an MP5 that fires a 5.56 and uses an AR-15 style receiver... THAT makes sense...
Really looking forward to a new demo guys, the Christmas beta got kind of old once I realized you could just spam hunters and annihilate everything :P
I just found this mod while randomly browsing Mod DB, and I have to admit, I got so excited that I went and dug up my copy of Empire at War in anticipation :)
Just click the browse button and make your way to Program Files > THQ > Company of Heroes. If you have the Steam version, it will be under Program Files > Steam > steamapps > common > company of heroes. The extractor will do all of the work for you, including putting a shortcut on your desktop.
Hey guys, first of all I want to say that just from seeing the Christmas beta, I'm VERY excited about this mod! That being said, I'm having trouble getting the .zip beta to work (I guess it's the second beta). I didn't see any sort of readme within the file, so I'd really appreciate some guidance on how to get it installed and working. Thanks!
For Whom the Bell Tolls. They used it in the intro of Zombieland, but it worked SOOOOO well...
