Where're the toolkits? I've read that you can buy em from traders before, but those posts are few months old, and in latest patch my faction trader (Duty), Barkeeper, Ecologist and Military traders don't sell those. Tried reloading a dozen of times.
I really do not want to surf whole zone to be able to upgrade my most basic rookie suit....

When startng as military, everyone sends me to commander. Even lieutenants. But I can't find him anywhere, though I constantly hear him cursing over the loudspeakers.
He's definitely not in the large buildings, searched other parts of the base as well.
Any ideas where he can be?

На другой движок - без вариантов к сожалению, всё придётся делать заново. Разработка 1.85 и так идёт овердофига дольше чем многим бы хотелось.

Отставить панику. Во первых, в каком месте способность Overwatch наносит больше урона чем Тополя?!
Во-вторых, я ещё посмотрю как люди будут ныть что Веномы слишком слабые и совершенно бесполезны, когда народ будет знать как их контрить.
В-третьих, в плане ред-алерта - наличие Тесл прямиком оттуда не смущает? Вместе с Борисом.
По-моему, команда разрабов отлично совмещает эти жанры.
В-четвёртых, в использовании резервов на 5-ом уровне смысл таки есть, с точки зрения логики. Вопрос в том, чтобы довести эту способность до 5-го уровня в плане балансировки, что и происходит.
Bah, in all honestly, I predict rank 5 GLA having least amount of problems with them. That being said, Venom is also perfectly suited to counter GLA tactics, so... depends on player skills.
As for Russia, I'd say it's sub-optimal to go Venom against Lategame Russia/China. Pandora does it better. (it, ofc, all depends on how intensive the game is, and if Russia/China have been given a chance to spam sececo.)
It should be noted, as many times mentioned by DevTeam (and MARS specifically), that ROTR's USA is the most high tech faction in form of fielded and regularly used equipment, which their entire army is made of. Lots of drones, etc.
What ECA has are superexpensive prototypes fielded in very small numbers. (around 100 Venom suits total, in lore.)
The delay in 1.85 happened mainly due to decision to re-model the whole frigging Russian faction (buildings) and refurbish all unit models as well.
But worry not, gameplay/balance changes that 1.85 brings will also be far more serious than during 1.70>>>>1.72 transition.
The changelog will be... big.

Скажем там - при ограниченном кол-вом супероружия, в поздней игре они помогут вам прорвать любую оборону, насколько бы "глухой" она не была.
Ну или снести к чертям пол базы, в зависимости от того, сколько вы будете готовы вложить в эти рактеы (а они достаточно дорогие).
Разочарую (или обрадую, зависит от стиля игры и сеттинга супероружия) - это НЕ супероружие. :P
Тремор как был, так и остался.
Но при должном вложении ресурсов (а каждую ракету надо покупать в отдельности, удовольствие не из дешёвых) - причиняет Боль.

As for Overlord chassis - isn't it logical to make superheavy flamethrower tank on the chassis of already existing superheavy tank of same faction?
Especially since Shenlong is vastly different from Immolator in how it works.

Российский спутник, учитывая что он работает как Avenger, т.е., кажется, на 50% увеличивает скорострельность по всем врагам на которых он светит, уже весьма неплох. Тем более что альтернатива ему, в виде удара Ту-22, смотрится весьма блекло на фоне атакующих способностей других фракций.
Your first assumption is correct. Skyshield with 3 turrets used Stinger Site logic and it was impossible to make it shut down when you're low on power.
Don't use infantry-only formations, especially in late game. It wont work well.
But they're pretty damn efficient when you mix them with vehicles.
