This will have taken you some time and i hope people like it, i would like to note though that the main flags are historically accurate for the era.
I do not know all of them but I can tell a few for certain, for example the British flag, once the Tudor line died out the James line were next, which combined the kingdoms of England, Ireland and Scotland under the King of Scotland (James the VI of Scotland/James the I of England, Ireland and Great Britain)
The British flag took a couple of different attempts to get to the one we know and love today, being a combination of the English, Scottish and Ireland flags (whole Island of Ireland flag not Northern or Republic)
St Georges flag (England) St Andrews flag (Scotland) St Patricks flag (Ireland)
You can see that there are only two flags present in the 18th century flag of Great Britain which is the Scottish and English, later with the Union act and becoming the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland the Irish flag was added also. (wiki check for date 1801)
The French and German flags are also correct, as there was not a Germany at this time it was the Holy Roman Empire.
I cannot seem to get on to the TWcenter page at all, ive been trying to log onto the devs group for a mod Im hosting...
Drop me a message you can probably upload it here also, keep it all together for everyone.
I do not have the time as i am currently working and have been for the past 4/5 years on other mods on another franchise. If anyone is interested in working on this please let me know... There is apparently an issue with the Dumnonian faction crashing i believe i was able to recreate this error...
I had all of the patches installed as is listed on here as of Nov2020 try using the base game and adding the different patches see if the issue persists, one of the patches is a fan patch. I am in a rush trying to get mods finished before christmass so i literally have no time. I would like to look at this... I have tried to find the original developer and i cannot contact them either.
i cannot load into the developers hub... i will check again soon
Hi everyone I am sorry but have not been on this site in years, i have been involved in making mods for another franchise over the past 4/5 years so i have not had much time. I a going to take a more active interest in this site and I am review information from the team.
Hi sorry i have not been on this site in years, i have been far too busy with work and ive been working on mods over the past 4/5 years on another franchise all together. Try not using some of the patches, when i got hold of this mod it was a bit all over the place, i was not the original creator and saved this mod from being forgotten about. I was given a couple of mods to look after so they could keep being enjoyed by people.
Ive just added it here Moddb.com
That link will hold the instructions and download link. It is also now in articles under Download the game files.

The download link has been on the linked page you can find it on the summery page. You need to use the mega one the alternative as that's the only one that works.
Ive just been looking over this again, the download link was not added by me but by another in the development team.
I have the whole file on a single zip 2.7GB just under, I will try and upload it again here.
It was taking forever to upload and everytime it took hours and then failed. The next best thing was using mega upload to install it. All others had those silly lag things.
I don't think you have to install a browser extension do you? I think that's optional, I don't fully recall. And its not malware (malicious-ware as it doesn't do anything like that as far as I'm aware)
The good thing about this version is with the Norman units would be the first real beginnings of lancer cavalry, as before this there wasn't anything like many would expect to see of a cavalry unit.
There are also possible good factions, with having Brittany, Normandy, Flanders across in France. Then there is Anglo-Saxon England, Welsh, Scotie amongst others. Factions could also be vassal kingdoms.
I was just thinking it would be a great idea having a mod that was based on the Norman conquest. And base it on the Viking version as its the best version. When I looked I thought oh look someone else with the same idea. Great news.
If you know the history, when the ruler of England (Saxon King Edward) died there was several claims to the throne. Not only Harold Godwinson, but also from Haraold of Norway (I forget his last name). He sent forces to the north (somewhere along the Tyne I believe). Won in York and was then defeated by Harold whom then had to march to Hastings to meet the invading Normans. I recall another issue with the crown being disputed between two different English Saxon would be rulers at around this time, possibly between Godwinson and another, or after his death on the Saxon side not the Normans side.
Hello this was on the SteamWorkshop, but has since disappeared? Any clues
This is an old development that the developers stopped working on, I managed to packaged it up and it works on my game I have Kingdoms, but it can crash on start up sometimes I think (going from memory here, but I have had it working, there are two versions if one doesn't work try the other.)
Oh I don't know if it works with steam though. But someone added a how to on the comments on one of the downloads for steam.
Hi please go to
Twcenter.net
and see if there is a fix, if not someone may be able to help you there.
I cannot look into this atm, but if this is the Cornwall/Devon faction I used to play with that one and I had no issues.
Try the bug report link on the summery if there are any devs left on the development page they may help you. Or you might find your answer there.
There is nothing wrong with the download. It is downloading and unpacking fine. I'm using Windows 10 64bit on IE 11 (internet Explorer 11).
Make sure your on the FILES tab and on this site, not the TotalWarcentre site;
Moddb.com
Also try using 7zip if you have any issues. 7-zip.org
I installed to a blank folder as I don't have the game installed, but it all downloaded and installed/unpacked fine.

Probably this is because it is installing into a read-only folder. Maybe it is because it is installing in a sub-directory of program files and modern windows protect this folders better.
Try opening the install file as an administrator or taking off the read-only attribute to the folder.
FOR A TEST;
Try changing the folder to a different folder, for example C:Romez\
See if it installs, you can always then copy and paste the files directly into the game folder, as it will not work unless it is within the game folder.
The only thing you will have to do then, is change where the links are pointing to so it will run from the shortcuts.
TODO; I will check to see if this works on steam version, and if not how to make it work. If I remember correctly I think its quite easy you to add something in to the start up. I will clarify when I have time, I have not been on the internet in quite some time so I am updating everything, please bare with me.
Yes I'm taking the time to try and encourage groups/teams that are working on very similar mods to combine projects/efforts/resources as to aid the projects in their creation and betterment. Plus their would be a greater interest in each mod rather than the interests being spread out thinly.
Creating mods and games is extremely time consuming and monotonous after a while, once you have taken on a project its many months of tired eyes and feeling like u have a headache from starring at a screen for so long. Its just better to share the load and combine projects or share resources.
Is there by any chance somewhere on the internet or perhaps someone can create an article?
That shows you all the items and proficiencies that you get from each character creation choice... like on this link for M&B +warband
Strategywiki.org
I know the character creation screen is very detailed and a lot of work has gone into it. I do like it I just wish I knew what I was getting from my choices.
When you start the game I have had this issue on Bellum Imperii 161AD (which uses Brytenwalda as a base), when it happened to me I just pressed esc and then return to game (or enter a place something to go off the main screen) and it was fine I think it is not loading all of the items when you first load the game
If this does not work try re-downloading and reinstalling.
Well that's unfortunate, but great news about the release, I wish I had the time to invest to aid you as I would love to see this evolve, alas I have too many projects on myself.
They had a huge period of inactivity from 2013 to nearly the end of 2015 so it may be worth trying them again they may well have scenes/models/textures and vice versa.
For ideas on extra features there are a wealth of extra features in;
Moddb.com Brytenwalda moddb
Novaregula.com Brytenwalda Homepage
But you already have enough on I would expect with what you are doing at the moment.
I don't know if you could combine these teams and make one single mod? Probably have more members to work together and create the mod faster.
Or check it out see if they will share resources. They are still in development as they have not yet released a full version, so they may want something you have aswell. I think its based around the same time frame.
(It is a multiplayer version, but your both two halves of the same coin)
https://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-bear-force-ii Bearforce2
I saw on a video of 1257AD (from there main post so I think it was actually someone to do with the development) there were a great number of rebels in the area and the player said the faction was having a rebel uprising (that is a possibility you could just have a really high number and often occurrence of rebel uprisings within the Roman Empire.
Although whilst resolving the issue of them not being able to take over the map due to having to deal with the rebel scum, this would take a very long time and much effort to code in aswell as having to change the factions and faction actions (I have not modded M&B yet or even looked at the code so I can only assume)
I'm uploading it its taking forever and keeps failing so I have opted to upload it to another site and then use the upload via a link option...
So just track this mod (on the right side) and it will show you an update when I have successfully uploaded it
That sounds good and a shame that it could not be all done together. I wish you luck.
I found another one...

Collaboration is the key to a more productive community Rather than make new teams and similar mods... Join existing teams, work on mods together and share resources so mods are completed better and quicker. Currently been away from the site for a few years and my obligations to these mods has fallen by the wayside. I am and have been since 2015ish working on a few mods for another game franchise, between this, working and socialising I have had no time whatsoever. If anyone is interested in looking at or joining up to manage these mods please contact me with the acceptation of IBII as I believe the team was still active last time I checked and it would not be for me to say as I am not the mod leader. Someone gave me a couple of mods to look after which are on here, I have also found a dead mod or two and revived it so it was not lost to time. I'm a few months away from completing my main mod, I have a few additions I am also working on but it will be a huge relief once completed.
