Jonas Lang is a German music composer. His musical education began when he started taking piano lessons at the age of 7. Between the ages of 11 and 15 he attended the State School of Music in Montabaur. He made his first experiences with composing when he was 14 and has constantly improved his skills since then. Besides his work as a composer he's also a graphic designer. Currently he's involved in the development of Zeitgeist, a Half Life 2 total conversion.

Jonko @ The Continent is coming closer

Wikipedia says that metrication efforts in the UK started in the early 19th century, but the metric system never quite caught on.

Jonko @ LAST ZOMBIE

What's up with that funny German voice acting? I'm a native speaker and I have no clue what the response to the question was supposed to mean although I must have heard it dozens of times. And the last thing that zombie says, I think, was supposed to mean something like "Cassandra, I love your brains"... Dude, what the ****?

May I humbly suggest that you read the comments before commenting yourself so as to avoid asking a question that may have been answered several times already?

It isn't. We're still working on some details of the story and, as we said, there will be more graphical content soon.

As I'm a composer, I'd better be able to write a song ;)
It's not an easy task to find a decent jazz singer, but of course we'll try.

It will work with steam and you will need the episodes. Like most mods, I think Zeitgeist will come as an installer and as a zip file so you can choose what you like better.
The music will be a lot more difficult; we can't control who downloads Zeitgeist so we have to see to it that we don't violate copyright in any country. Let's take Germany for example, because our whole team is German: Here, the copyright is active at least 70 years after the death of the composer, or, what's even worse, the last member of the band. So even if we only chose a few songs, we'd have to pay an awful lot of money to be allowed to use them. As I said earlier in some comments, it's more likely that we will only use original music. This is not only a pragmatic but also a stylistic decision. We don't want to make some boring history game, but rather something original. We don't want the player to walk through virtual London listening to swing tunes the umpteenth time and wondering if he's playing Mafia II or The Saboteur. Rather we want to change the tone of the music so that it adds something new to the scenario.

Greets,
Jonko (Zeitgeist composer)

A single, brightly coloured line across the background? Sorry, but that doesn't sound like it would improve the design to me.

Jonko @ Project On Hold

Well, if you want me to take a guess, I'd say your new project is a fast paced game that's simple but fun to play but also unique (be it its visual style or gameplay) and can earn you a helluvalot of cash with some skill and luck. I hope we'll hear about it soon :)

Nope, we're always happy to get an offer for help and we won't delete your comment. I don't know who is giving you negative karma for pointing out grammar errors, but we don't mind criticism, so it's not us.

This looks totally awesome! Also, a solo cello is one of the best things that can happen to a soundtrack. Forget about the orchestra and the choir, small scale soundtracks are much more beautiful.

Hey, Cr3mat0r!

I read your comment on Zeitgeist's recent update and was curious what a mod inspired by our work may be like :)
STT&R looks great so far and the story has a nice spin. May I know who's responsible for the original soundtrack?
