Units you recruit that aren't mercenaries will be paid by the state (your faction)and there might be a morale issue.

Probably not this year, since it's only in alpha.

There aren't musicians in this version.

This is a bug which has already been reported, expect Docm to fix it in his next patch.

Go talk to an army recruiter in the capital city of the faction you want to join

you can find him on the street (he looks different than other guards)
