LOVED gaming since I first played on the Intellivision in 1984. As life goes on, I will find a way to work in more play among my many RL goals.

It could have. And they've hosted the INI files and MIX files necessary as extra downloads before. But they were since removed, so I speculate it is some conscious decision. I presume they wanted the custom tracks to be the focus.

You will need the original game's scores.mix and scores01.mix files (TS_Client_5.30_Full mod is one possible source for them) and you'll need XCC utilities (https://xhp.xwis.net/utilities/).

In your Warzone install's INI folder, you'll need to edit theme.ini and theme01.ini. Simply remove the semi-colon from each original track name entry, so that they are no longer commented out, and save.

You'll need to copy/extract the original soundtrack .aud files from your original scores.mix, using "XCC Mixer.exe". Then you can use "XCC Mix Editor.exe" to merge them into the Warzone scores.mix. Be sure to click the "compact" button in mix editor, after you have inserted the original score .aud files into the Warzone scores.mix .

For Firestorm tracks, you can just copy your original scores01.mix into Warzone's MIX folder.

Found out which reshade shader was lowering the saturation and vibrance ("prod80_04_ContrastBrightnessSaturation") and made some adjustments. Just recording this for posterity.

Ah, my bad. I had switched to one of the non-compat renderers during an earlier session. Fixed now.

Also, how is the color saturation being lowered in this version? Would like the to bring the colors back to their default level of bold/vibrance.

Anyone ever have an issue with ReShade not loading? On my laptop, ReShade loads fine when I run this mod. But on my desktop tower, ReShade will not load for this mod. It's odd because I use ReShade filters on Batman: Arkham City on my desktop tower, and ReShade still loads fine with it. I also have to use Admin priv's to avoid the "internal error" message.

Wow. Thought this mod had gone into hibernation. Good to hear things are still chugging along despite all that life has thrown at you guys. This was good news to read. Thanks for the update!

NM. Did some more digging and verified this is caused by some custom maps. All assets display fine on official maps. Love the mod, btw. Great work!

Has anyone experienced the NOD refinery assets being in place of the Soviet refinery? I'm running version 8.04, and with every skirmish the NOD refinery displays on the build panel. When deploying one, it drops a NOD refinery with a Soviet ore truck. Can't figure out how to get the Soviet refinery to properly display.

This the the coolest I've ever seen the RA2/Tiberian Sun engine look. I dunno how you got all three of the Tiberium Wars races into it, but you did, and it looks awesome when they start blowing **** to hell :-D. This is free stand-alone, so if you're reading this and haven't played yet, what are you waiting for?!

If you have the campaign movie mix files, you can simply copy them to the "MIX" sub-folder of your C&C Warzone client, and that should be all that is needed for the campaign movies to play. Although after ver. 10.5, the "Deux Ex Kane" campaign movies stopped playing. Seems to be a bug. Author posted an archive containing the movie mix files here:

'Sup guys. Loving this mod. Great job with all the new animations, units, and visual effects! Wanted to report a bug -- cutscenes play on all campaigns except the Tiberian Sun NOD campaign, "Deus Ex Kane". They play fine in 10.5, so I'm guessing some change must be causing it. Thanks again for your excellent work!

For me, the game would freeze when attempting to load missions because I had selected 'DxWnd' for the renderer. When I changed it back to 'DDrawComp', missions loaded again. This was pre and post 0.7.11 update.

You do have TiberiumEssence.big in that folder right? Should be a little over 400mb in size.

That line is what causes the Tiberium Essence assets to load. Try adding "add-big TiberiumEssence.big" into config.txt after making a back-up copy of it and see if that causes TE to load when you start Tiberium Wars.

Well in the case of the 1.6 beta version, in "..\Command Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Core\1.9", there should be these four files: "config.txt", "patch9.big", "TiberiumEssence.big", and "TiberiumEssence_1.6.skudef" .

The config.txt should have the following 3 lines in it:

add-big patch9.big
add-big TiberiumEssence.big
add-config ..\1.8\config.txt

Does yours?

So many thirsty, entitled lamentations...

Relax, young'ns. If you're getting bent out of shape over this, it's because you have too many of your eggs in this basket. Life is full of twists and challenges and human shortcomings -- any combination of these could happen at any moment ensuring no outcome in this life is ever really guaranteed. Regardless of what anyone promises.

The proper response to this is to acknowledge that "**** happens", and to practice a little detachment while just making the most of whatever is currently under one's control and not over-investing in an outcome or result that was NEVER guaranteed to begin with. For example, what you invest your free time and interest in is under your own control (it is if you're following this mod). Pull some of that freely distributable passion out of T.E. mod and invest it into other games. Or activities, books, shows, hobbies, people, skill development -- **** man there have got to be dozens of different things you can find to put your eggs into other than just one free game-mod that is a lone dev's hobby project which you are very lucky even exists.

You should apply enough detachment to and divest enough interest out of T.E. mod until its not being updated or reported on by the creator doesn't really bother you. Because, really, it shouldn't. One car accident, career change, change-of-heart, personal-life change, etc. could easily dissolve Carnius's reason for continuing this project. At any time. By over-investing in one impermanent item, one only sets themself up for un-needed dissappointment or restlessness over the status of that desired object.

These "missing textures" are URBAN_RUBBLE_DUST_FAINT.dds and URBAN_RUBBLE_DUST_FULL.dds. These files are corrupt in certain distributions of the GhostCity(6p) map for some reason. Basically, search all instances of those two .dds files on your hard drive. Non corrupt ones will have a visual preview in Windows Explorer if you view as "large icons". Corrupt versions will not have the proper visual preview. I replaced those with the versions of those files that had the proper visual preview and finally there were no more pink question marks on the map when playing.

With Carnius keeping his focus on the dev side of things, just wanted to say its really appreciated that you take the time to put out these status updates and answer a question or two. We'd be very much in the dark without them. Thank you! :-)

The Space Marine AI plays well. Ork AI will hardly ever build any T3 heavy support units, though. Saw the same from IG, as well. They try to keep the heavy support cap filled up, instead of trying to tech up and get high tier units out.

I'm amazed that TW still actually looks quite good with all the graphical bells and whistles turned on. EA really knocked it out of the park with C&C 3. Such a shame they had to bring down the Tiberium universe and then kill Generals too.

I think choosing a specific mark is required to make that god's greater daemon buildable. Otherwise, when you click that greater daemon icon to purchase the unit, when you deep strike it from the sacrificial circle it manifests as a chaos spawn instead of a greater daemon.

Is there an AI control panel tweak that can cause the Ork AI to build more T3 heavy support units? I adjusted teching speed up to "very fast", but match after match, the ork AI mostly just sends kanz/deff dreads and "big gunz". Haven't seen a tank or garg. squiggoth yet. This is with AI on hard setting. Thanks again for this amazing work guys!
