Is the "steps on metal" sound taken from Silent Hunter V or maybe Half Life? It somehow sounds familiar.
I find Generals fire and rocket exhaust effects better than RA3 and C&C3. Maybe it's just me, and i know it's just eye candy, but if you move to that engine maybe you could revamp those effects? I prefer playing as China but if their nukes will be the morning flatulence that was in C&C3 instead of the ambassador of Thor that was in Generals, it will make one of their generals a lot less enjoyable.
How about an aircraft bunker?

Maybe you can make it spawn some standard fleet, like a few capitals, frigates and a fighter escort, if someone wants more ships just click the button more times

Look at hopper turret, see the gunner/spotter/whatever? Measure where his groin would be and see what protrudes from there.

My comp doesn't lag at all, and i only have an athlon x3 3.3, and an ati 6450. And i play with high caps and hiigarans.
In the first decade folder there are folders for each game, inside them are the .EXEs of each game. Use them directly or make shorcuts of them to bypass the launcher of TFD

But is there any reason to buy Hoppers? for the same price you can buy the more cost effective battlemasters, and they are less, which means less pathfinding problems and a more manageable group.
Maybe they could fit a machinegun, and a selector switch to change between cannon and machine gun. The machinegun could be much less effective than flame and gatling tanks, so you actually need to keep building those, but giving this tank a boost in effectiveness against infantry would give you a reason to build it.
That would make it more unique and remove the "watered-down-chinese-scorpion-builded-in-pairs" feel.
But in the cameo the hat is shorter, i was just pointing that.
Well, you can't buy zero hour, except for ultimate collection, which has problems with modding. He is not from USA or UK (i suppose), so i don't know if he can find some dirty cd in some hidden store. The last C&C i found in a store here was RA2 YR.

And why paying EA for a game made by Westwood? You want to support the devs? buy a Petroglyph game then, instead of paying money to EA allowing them to go and make new crap C&C games.
This things don't suck because they break trying. They are not cost efficient, they need to be made cheaper or have a faster RoF.
I put 5 battlemasters ($3500) against 7 hoppers ($3500) and 3 battlemasters survived 2 of them unscratched. They are nice minesweepers though.
Also put limits to stomach capacity, it isn't inmersive when you can eat a thousand apples in one minute when you are almost death, and "get better".
