Dude this mod defined my hl2 mod playing experience, thank you for everything! However I do have to ask on behalf of myself and many others, is there anything you can do to help mitigate the bugging issues and/or revitalize what was finished before?

Your file is beyond f*cked, won't load properly
Read the news updates, this mod is more than 7 years old. The update in 2010 all but ruined the mod completely. You're only hope now is to downlown the Smod project life mod but even that's unstable
Im so glad this is still alive, you guys are the best!
how does this even work? I turn on the application and all I get is weird *** music and no real instructions of any kind.
I wonder how this mod died.... It had such a strong following when it first came out. Though there were definitely flaws
I dont see a shortcut for the mod, I can't start it. I did everything correct to my knowledge, I placed the files into insurgency2 folder
mod still has bugs, half of my hud text is missing
Cool stuff, looking forward to it. On a side note, you might want to really work on your grammar, haha.
Not sure what's wrong with this mod as Im pretty sure i installed it correctly. How exactly do you even use these new skins? there's no option to switch to them. Also why do the new custom weapons only work on certain levels but not others? And I think the mod screwed up the NPC AI as they instantly become hostile when my character hasn't done anything. For instance, I just switched into a guard's disguise after making sure NO ONE was looking. Upon doing so, I casually pass by a guard and he instantly becomes suspicious and then hostile. I can say the only real value of this mod is that you can get some weapons stored that you normally could not. But even this can be useless since they dont even work for the most part. Also why do my custom weapons get duplicated in the menu? I'll try reinstalling it and see what happens. Has anyone else experienced these problems?
Calm down dude, no one is judging you. You did more than anyone could have hoped for. I got to play one of my favorite hl2 mods thanks to you and im still happy to know it still works after all this time. I think you've done more than enough man, take it easy.
My only complaint is the grunt AI....while great for the most part and challenging in the right areas, they are CHEAP.... Have you not even noticed how the grunts can just automatically KNOW where the player is at all times? You literally cannot sneak up on these guys, even when you're a mile away, they KNOW where you are before you even see them.
Going to be honest...after playing that so called "demo", I straight up stopped following this mod. You have A LOT to improve on, starting first with making it playable...
Lol why the hell does the story description say "He has nothing to rely on. And nobody left to trust." When the entire time he's RELYING on his Australian friend for intel and support?
you realize that you can pretty much add ANY CSS weapon skin onto Smod tactical YOURSELF right? it's the same thing as adding a normal css skin, only into smod folders
actually you got a point, the walking animations from max payne look down right stupid. I dont know anyone who walks like that....
Felt NOTHING like smod or smod tactical.
It's buggy as ****, nearly unplayable and certainly not fun. why would you even release this as a demo.....
This mod could really use more maps to play in
thank god there's still SOME PEOPLE who play this mod! FA:S sucks compared to the original...I'm sorry but i dont want to play a frickn Halo arcade shooter
I agree with the majority of you guys here. lol damn some of you guys should be arguing this **** against retards that is the mass media. Uninformed idiots who see one bad influence, automatically assume the whole structure has gone sour. If videos games honestly made people into violent psychopathic maniacs, then I'd say more than 1/3 of the population of US would be mass murdering the living **** out of people by now. But there you have it, the only case in which we actually DO have video games becoming bad influences on people are indeed EXTREMELY RARE CASES. Ignorant conservative retards like Jack Thompson fail to see this and also fail to even bother to do the most minimal research. So pretty much MODDB is covering their ***** in hopes that the media and other bitching uninformed idiots will simply GO AWAY. Have fun with that.
This mod is the perfect example of what ALL modding teams should aspire to.... a group of PROFESSIONAL modders who give the people what they want, provide fresh ideas and make them work. While the mod itself has some bugs and glitches, it's still a **** ton better than the other so called "medieval mods" i've played.
Sorry but I got bored of this mod within the first few minutes of playing it. While the story is half decent, and the voice acting is surprisingly good, everything else seems to fall short. The introduction was boring, you forced me to watch a planet rotate for 15 minutes or so while a British dude just rambled on. The atmosphere is there, but it lacks style. For example, the lack of any real texture changes and character models is just weak. I dont want to be reminded I'm playing a half life 2 knock off when I see the same asian, black, white people from hl2 only in green uniforms. Also the weapon models are just terrible...I thought for a second they were meant for half life 1. The game play is also weak. I dont know what you were thinking about damage levels with guns, but it is absolutely terrible. Why does it take 3 hits to the HEAD with a pistol to kill ONE guy? I could spend an entire mag into one dude and he would not die. And an m4 that holds 50 rounds but it takes 35 of those rounds or so to actually kill? But an axe can kill in one hit? wtf? I've been getting really bored with my games lately, so I randomly just installed this mod to see if it there was anything cool. Now I kind of regret it. Not to be mean or anything, but this is my honest opinion.
um....FASTER movement? Not sure how I feel about that...I felt like the game was already hectically fast as it is, but we'll see.
Thank you for you and your team's efforts man
I hope you dont mind, but I'm gonna post smod project life on fpsbanana. It'd be cool if you could check if I had all the information right about it as well.
damn, I was just about to ask about this but you already thought of it. Way to stay ahead.
