Played through and I really loved it! Great environment design, fast combat, cool nonlinear levels. Looking forward to more.

Funny coming back to this over a decade later. The NeoTokyo OST is probably my most-listened to album. I really regret not buying a CD when those came out (I was still in high school then).
Nevermind, I'm an idiot. The following from the readme fixed it:
>you need Source SDK Base 2013 Single Player (located in the tools section on steam)
>once you get the above SDK, right click on it, go to properties, then the betas tab, change the dropdown menu to say "upcoming"
I'm super excited to try this. Unfortunately, the game crashes as soon as the Valve / Source logo screen ends. Any ideas how I can fix?
Any chance of us getting an updated version on Desura? The desura download is old.
Awesome! I was just wondering what happened to this mod.
Does this include The Harbour and Rainy Days?
Any chance PC will ever get splitscreen?
Please don't give different stats to costumes. They should be cosmetic only.
Seeing how similar the SMGs and Carbines are, and how the carbines have a larger effective range than the SMGs, in addition to much less damage falloff, will SMGs be usefull for anything other than extremely close quarters?
BTW, I loved your article, and if I have time I want to start mod development over the summer.
Also, I'd suggest a nerf for the knives and the handcannon, people seem to be only using these 1 hit kill weapons in Last Man Standing. Also, will we ever see the Semi-auto sniper and the Colt SAA return from AHL1 ?
I loved the HL1 original, but the 1st source release was disappointing. This looks very promising!
I just played it now after letting the folder sit on my desktop for months. This is one of the most creative games I have played in a long time! I would pay ~$20 for a 5 hour long version, provided it had some replay value.
Also, combat seemed a bit broken. Hold block, then attack. I hope the added combat store in a newer version fixes that. Also, after completing Volcano Island, I realized the economy needs to be fixed (I had more than enough to buy everything after 1 dungeon).
The developers should be proud. I hope to one day buy a full version of this game on Steam!
Damn I wish this wasn't dead.
Looks awesome! Is this going to be sold on Steam?
Is this going to be on Desura? I'd love the easy install.
Merry Christmas, and thanks for the nice update!
I just finished it. This was an excellent map, a tad on the short side, but nonetheless fun. Only fix I would make to it is to have some sort of unbreakable crate to get over the wall near the end; I accidentally broke the crate, and had to stack other objects to get across.
I hope I get to fight a Strider in the next chapter!
In the L4D2 version, will I get to play as the original survivors or the new (or both?)
This looks very impressive and fun; I can't wait to play it. The only problem I see is that it looks like much of the gameplay consists of running backwards and shooting.
I hope Valve gives you guys Steamworks.
Only problem in my opinion is that the bed is just a mattress.
I'd love to see a G3 and a M16 DMR Sniper.
I'm looking forward to this mod, but 1 request... Could you please release a torrent for this also? My internet connection frequently drops when downloading large files, so I love bittorrent for letting me resume downloads where I left off.
Could you host WWI source in a torrent? My internet connection sucks, and I need bittorrent to get large downloads.
