I have been an avid gamer for as long as I can remember. The audio from the games of my youth is what inspired me down the path of a composer & sound designer; as a result it has always been my passion to bring video games to life through their sounds. The music in games such as Final Fantasy VII, Mechwarrior 3 and Front Mission 3 have always captivated me along with the incredible sound design in titles such as Fallout 3 & the Armored Core series. The concept of audio subtlely immersing a player into an environment, providing those with the narrative and context to truly enjoy an experience is one that still gets me incredibly motivated every time I acknowledge it. As a strongly driven individual I strive to bring a high standard of enthusiasm and creative thinking to any task at hand. I believe that my skills in both sound design and music composition provide me with a unique opportunity for creating the most consistent & tailored sound experience possible by producing in parallel.

If you're interested I'd love to help out with the mod by providing music, below is a 3 minute video that displays some range of my compositional work and what I can bring to your project:

Sorry if you already have someone! I'm currently looking for mods that are active and dedicated which is why your mod caught my eye. The reason for this is that so many mods inevitably die as I'm sure you know. I'm here because I love what I do and want to help others in creating great mods for everyone to enjoy so I'm dedicated whenever I start work on a project.

Thanks very much if you have read this far, haha. I hope I haven't bored you and if you have listened to the showreel then please do post your comments, positive, constructive and negative alike!

Also, the footage used in the showreel is just to create context and is not from the actual games/films that I have composed for.

Thanks again,
Sean Gilleece

P.s: Please PM me as I often don't get notifications on comment replies. Thanks!

I really like the look of this! I only recently started playing Amnesia and yeah, it's fairly terrifying [but in the best way possible!]. So I've been hunting around for mods on it and came across yours.

Great work so far and I'll definitely be downloading it when it's done.

It's definitely got potential, but you really need to get better sample banks and such [is that midi brass? :P]. Good stuff though, work on the overall production value, try out vintage modeling vsts and such. There is plenty out there on emulating the sounds from this time. Also try adding swing to the piano and vary it up.

Thanks a million man! I think we could definitely get something going on this as I've always noticed mods have usually one or two Irish people in their rankings so there is definitely the makings of a team among us!

Sorry to hear that but we've settled on fallout as being the best basis for the mod, unfortunately this leaves out fans such as yourself but with the effort involved in putting into Oblivion what is already available in Fallout 3, well it's just the logical step.

Remember though, the mod won't be out for quite a while yet, by the time it does come out you could pick fallout up of the bargain bins for next to nothing, the original copies of the game are already dropping in price drastically with the release of New Vegas.

I won't encourage people to torrent the game as the makers of fallout have done us a solid by making this game and making it so open to the community so please support them and you'll be supporting the entire mod community!

Take care and keep an eye out for updates in the near future ;)

Good to see you're still modding, Outbreak: Condemned looks great I must say. Very well done!

DAW: Cubase 5

Composition software: Sibelius, Guitar Pro 5 [I upgraded to 6, vomited wildly and went back to 5].

MISC: Reason 4, Traktor Pro [I enjoy doing stuff live over my work and recording it, it gives a pretty unique feel. Sometimes restricting yourself by not being able to undo an action can be quite liberating!]

As far as Vst's go, well that's a long list of both freeware and paidware. Some freeware tops even the most expensive counterparts though, there is some gems like C_SUPERSTEREO that don't even have a download link online to anymore and are just top notch! Search and you'll find some real gold out there, for free! It's crazy.

Thanks a million for the interest! Sure pop on over to the forums at: Z9.invisionfree.com

We can give you a few sample lines and you could maybe throw up some recordings? I will master and mix and the speech audio to make it sound more professional anyway so even if you just have a basic microphone [anything better then a headset microphone or built in microphone on your laptop really!] then I can master it so you're fine as far as quality goes ;)

Yes the Church will be in the mod, we havn't decided yet on Tifa's bar but it most likely will as you meet the guy who builds the bar in Crisis core so it would be safe to assume that the bar was either built or near completion by the start of the mod's timeline.

The game is looking great so far! I'm a huge fan of the C and C universe so this is a joy to see :D

Are you guys having an original soundtrack for this? I can help out scoring music for the game if wanted.
