Am just giving you a peace of mind :) it is completely normal that a trained soldier and/or ex soldier (suppose mercs are that) can score effective hits at 250,300 metres with an assault rifle only by ironsights on single shot setting, and to throw a fragmentation grenade into a window size opening at 50-60 metres. Unmodified assault rifles from the ˝ancient˝ AKM towards the HK G36 are designed to deliver straight bullet flight trijectories up to 400 metres. The guys got it down pretty ok... Keep that in mind and you will feel the zone just as it was ment to be. I understand your frustration completely, but once you absorb the misery mechanics you will be complete within your perception. Good day sir. Although MP5LNG is right there is also one other thing that corrupts savegames even if you follow the hardsave tip. I had an full assaulter build and had to scrap it because it could not be salvaged. WHAT A MISERY! Make sure:

That you have deleted ALL savegames from COP savegame directory BEFORE installing MISERY! Best would be an overall clean install of COP, yet this will definitelly do. It also reduces stuttering to a major degree...

Imploy this tip, start again if necessary, or you wont survive the jupiter plant and the x ray engine pressure of what awaits you there.

A dark ambiental survival horror action, story driven with rpg elements in a dysfunctional space opera in taste of Pandorum!? Bravo sir, bravo! The gun (a derivative of the Belgian FN FiveSeven) Is marvelous. Effect, sound and you can feel the weight of it! You have my full support Sir. A am sad because i do not posses the skills to help you in this grand endeavour, yet i will come and morally boost you on a regular basis. Be well and lot of success

If tomorrow i am not downloading THE patch, I will put out a BOUNTY on my dear dev TROJANUCH. Reward: 3 excelent kebab and 3 sets of baked potatoes and 2 liters of ˝Gemaj˝ (a daisy cutter among wines, very sweet very good, and you can get 5 100kg men hospitalised with 2 litres :))) for the head hunter that deliveres him alive and well. Well you can beat him up a bit, but only a little and not on the hands. He has a mod to polish (pun intended :) I want to have him as a hostage and torture him with a 12 hour marathon of jersey shore, big brother, mtv charts, honey boo boo and... well i´ll think of something more. EACH DAY until he completes the all embracing patch. The offer stands!

Had same problem a while ago. The all mighty (soon to have a bounty deployed on his head if he doesn´t patch this mod)TROJANUCH solved it for me :)

There you will find a file named; stalker_merc_5.ogf
Copy it within the map and rename it to; stalker_merc_10.ogf

An accomplished marksman will shave your balls with a bolt action rifle 7,62 with iron sights in clear weather at a distance of 150-250m. He will follow your muzzle flash and also blow your face of if you will be so stupid to light a cigarete at night. Im not talking about dedicated snipers. those SOB´s are surgeons. Talking bout marksmen. An AK is very accurate to 350-400m. TEH AIMBOTZ can be disabled in GAMEPLAY options

And as being a serviceman i will dare say that you are aware that a well trained soldier can throw a handgrenade through a house window at 30-40 m. Im not saying you are not a man. Im saying EA has no balls. I dont know how people percieve this in your homeland, yet being in the military does not make ones manhood an unquestionable dogma. A SOLDIER is a TRAINED FIGHTER. A FIGHTER is a state of mind, aproach and persistence. A loving caring father whose family is in danger is as fierce as any marine! And to conclude. Dear sir -XR- do you know that if you go and change the right scripture that you can enable autoaim? Also a couple of tweaks will enable selfhealing 1-2 seconds to full health. I hear someone made a suplement mod enabling energy shield projection from a backpack that withstands 3 direct hits from an RPG, also i can post you on how to make items of interest glow with a goldish tint so you can see them at 200 m, and by the way...

The suspens of being at a stormy night with nigtvision, dwindling batteries in an inferior position outgunned, outnumbered and finally prevailing with skill and a bit of luck, right weapon and ammo usage, to loot the corpse of the fallen squad leader and to embrace a FN_FAL para... holy crist i start to shiver! Yes i have the same problem. Couldnt solve it. hoping for the patch. This mod is a completely new game. And it is insanely good in every aspect just the bugs have to get eradicated and then its going to write itself into legend. I love it cant wait. Every step so full of suspense an constant judging, weighting of options and random encounter shocks. Please bring it up to level devs!
