Unable to save games - any helpful suggestions?
Hey Chaps (I am an OLD school Brit so forgive me), love the mod, it is absolutely brilliant. Many thanks and gratitude to all involved in its development and support.
I am somewhat stuck in Chapter 6 where you move to near the Novoshepelichi Bridge with the car repair stalker. The five stalker ghosts appear in a cut scene. After this I get stuck as this stalker and another called Finch. After this you can't save or leave and nothing happens after you kill some unknowns you can't interact with. Can anyone advise what should happen??
Enjoyed the mod as far as the Agroprom but was unable to proceed after entering the central underground circular area when you have to retrieve the access card and enter two codes. I was stung or poisoned by something when I moved away from the edges, which continuously drew down my health, as well as destroying my cloak. I was unable to recover. HugTV's run thru didn't suffer from this.
I am enjoying the first part of the mod and have no technical issues. Unfortunately, I can't find Fan's briefcase so I am unable to complete the first part. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately, this isn't a successful version of SOC. Essentially a weapons pack upgrade with rooms added to some bases.
I found that after completing the Lab X16 task the Wild Territory developed consistent crashes that prevented it being crossed after returning to the Bar. Army Warehouses also developed consistent crashes.
I gave up after this.
I would recommend OGSR - Gunslinger Addon to be found on Discord : OGSR - GA. This mod is superb.

OK - now in English.
I initially redownloaded the Google link but this is the old file. I doublechecked the download shown above and it is ONLY the Config\Text folder at 2 Gb - not the whole file again at 19 Gb. Tried this, deleted the existing Config\Text folder with the new one & Hey Presto, it works.

I have just installed the mod & it is still in Russian with no English option.The Zip file is dated 23/01/23 - is this the old file?

I love playing the mod. Thank you. Unfortunately I had to revert to version 1.051 because of issues with 1.052 - occasional video glitches, inability to update suits to take artifact modules et al.
I see that there is now a banner on the start screen stating that 'A new update for '[dev.1.06 01.01.01.23' is available on vk.com/mnp_team. When might this become available here on moddb.com? Now updated to 20.01.23.
I was thoroughly enjoying your compatability mod but unfortunately got a 'Pixel Shaders 1.1 or higher' failure on entering the Yantar map even though I have an Nvidia RTX 2060 card.
Tried editing the PRZ2.cfg file in the gamedata/shaders/r2 folder as suggested but to no avail.
Excellent addon,very enjoyable - but in the Mortal Sin : Endgame task it doesn't seem to be possible to get beyond killing the controller. Soon afterwards you and your companions just instantly die. Great shame.

Trying to find the First Scanner in the missions from Zob, Medic / Trader in Yantar, with Sakharov. Supposedly it is in the backyard of the Cement Factory, Jupiter (?), between the fire anomaly and gates. No luck. Need it to get the psi protection from Sakharov to get into Lab X-16.
Have found the second and third scanners with no problem.
Can anyone assist?

A belated thanks for your help.
I will likely be getting a new gaming laptop soon as my USB ports are failing and I have been given to understand the motherboard can't be repaired. As a result I will have to buy GOG or Steam versions to continue playing Stalker as new laptops don't include DVD drives anymore and I don't want to attach one.

I have just completed the Monolith War Lab level and have found the Generator level graphics to be a complete mess and that the exit from it doesn't trigger!
I am trying to reinstall Shadow of Chernobyl from the original GSC DVD and get the following error message:
Internal error: Failed to expand shell folder constant "commondocs"
I had noticed that recently my old SHOC install no longer saved files in Public documents. Can anybody advise what I need to change in my settings to correct this. Standalone mods do not seem to have a problem saving? I am very puzzled.
