It's me again! Copy pasted the gamedata folder to the D:\Shadow_of_Chernobyl_Update_1.0.2-001 folder where the already existing gamedata folder is but it is not working, it is still in Russian.
Also tried copy pasting the mod folder there just in case I misunderstood you but it is still in russian.
Am I doing something wrong?
Found the solution, the order of the files in your file is wrong. I had to unzip your file, go into gamedata folder, copy the text folder and then copy/paste it into D:\Shadow_of_Chernobyl_Update_1.0.2-001\gamedata\config\

That must have been a headache to workout mb, should be able to fix it soon when i get back
Problem has been fixed! Anyone else just now discovering the mod can now just drag and drop the gamedata file into where game is installed.
I have just installed the mod & it is still in Russian with no English option.The Zip file is dated 23/01/23 - is this the old file?
However, the file structure is as suggested by Kova1711 above.

That is so frustrating man, what happened was even though I managed to quickly upload a new copy of the mod to the site it still seemed that the old one remained while the updated version (i guess you could say) just went *poof* nowhere to be seen. Whats most intriguing is that I personally downloaded the mod myself multiple times to try out and bug test (which went smoothly) until I decided to try it out on a different machine which went exactly as some of you have described. Sorry for the hassle hopefully the second time works like a charm
OK - now in English.
I initially redownloaded the Google link but this is the old file. I doublechecked the download shown above and it is ONLY the Config\Text folder at 2 Gb - not the whole file again at 19 Gb. Tried this, deleted the existing Config\Text folder with the new one & Hey Presto, it works.

I will now check out the mod - fingers crossed....
Hopefully you have a wonderful experience with it but am also planning on releasing a a video on how to install the game and make it work with the translation soon, to be fair I have not made it exactly clear what steps you need to take in order to get everything working.
