Well, historical accuracy in the sense of the time period he uses and facions, culture, armour/weps and all i know is that there were female fighters in history but pretty rare so pls dont start this feminazi ''there were female fighters'' stuff.

This seems like an Varangian guard, viking mercenaries that fought also for Byzantine, i would say an important unit type for the Byzan faction in the game.

He tries to make it historical accurate so i doubt there would be any female fighters.
