If implemented correctly housecolor would look great! Perhaps add a toggle in game for no housecolor and housecolor, I remember I was supposed to work on one for my mod.

Update your BFME 1 to (unofficial) patch 1.06 it has a built in crack allowing you to play without your disc. As for BFME 2 try looking for a mini-image to use.
Going slow, but it's still going :P. I've been tackling a lot in the mod lately perhaps I can get enough for an update soon.
None yet, I'm working on it when I can, so it may take a while. I wan't to go for a release this year though.

yes, but I'd suggest starting on a new copy of your INI.big and we'll make is a Disable HouseColor patch,
So copy your INI.big file and rename the copied file to _DisableHC.big (so it works like a patch)
1.) Once you open your .big (I presume you know how to do this) look for the file data\ini\gamedata.ini
2.) Look for " EnableHouseColor = Yes"
3.) Change that to Yes to No.
4.) Save _DisableHC.big in your BFME Directory and enjoy your No HC game :)
I know of a solution to it, but it has to be done every time you go in game.
1.)When going into the game, go into options and into custom settings and check everything there is.
2.) When exiting the game go back into settings and change your custom onto Ultra High.
3.) When going back into game repeat the process.
It's how I get it to work personally ;)

In order for my texture patch to work, no. But it is recommended that you do get unofficial patch 1.06 from T3A: Online, which requires patch 1.03 and unofficial 1.05 to work. It has bigfixes and more maps e.t.c.
So in short, you only need patch 1.03 and then you can drop the file into the game directory folder and it should work.
Only pieces for some where found in-game, but me and Mathijs did our best to bring them as accurate as possible ! :P
Hey there, I'm glad you like it but I think you mis understood some things, This is supposed to be an addition for the future 1.06 patch, so the changes will be in the patch, this is just something to improve the textures.
But I can answer some things here :
- House Color will still be left in game but improved
- Golden armor will still be in as it is part of the game
- HD Graphics for units is an of course here :P
- Civilians and Patrols, Seige tactics, and town building system are in another one of my mods The Horse Lords (BFME 2), check it out if you want.
- Pop cap options aren't valid in bfme 1 :P

Yes, they will use a large two handed sword for now. My animator has not finished the new animations for the Shield and Sword unit, so they will not be in this release but will be in the others.
Hopefully I can get the alpha out on Christmas, if not I'll try for Jan 1st. :P

No no no, i had to change the mapping and stuff, the hair I can decrease if you want, but the old texture will mess it up. But the shirt is just the undergarment I've added armor to it already :).

I have never done buildings before so I can't( or don't know) how to help :(

P.S. Personally i just find the idea of using the BFME 2 buildings :
1.) Lacks creativity from the modder
2.) All the new models for BFME 2 are just plain cartoony and out of proportion :P
Of course I mean no offense, it's just my personal thought :).
It's still a risk, they say EA's forgotten about the game, but I think they haven't :P. Still the anims in BFEM 2 models don't work, since modders have tried before, but the models themselves will open ... but do nothing i guess ?
But it's also illegal :/ XD, well as EA said. I can't remember where it had that, somewhere on Revora. EA hasn't forgotten about BFME FYI :P.
