Rider of Rohan Here, current leader of the Horse Lords Mod for BFME 2.
There won't be much of a difference from this and the normal Tower Guard helmet, but as is Tower Guards won't really be seen in game unless you summon them with Berethor or play on certain maps as Citadel Guards replace the role of the vanilla Tower Guards.
We considered it, but did not want to do it because we preferred to keep these Nazgul for Shadow and Flame only.
In terms of texturing not much was done, just some accurate recoloring. But the actual horse's mesh was changed quite a bit for a smooth looking model.
I might touch up the texture if I find some more references on what to do.
Can't say when it will be released to be honest.

This mod and 1.09 are not dependent on each other for a release, don't worry both 1.09 and the HD Edition will be released in due time.
Well I've tested it in Combat and it is a bit buggy still, but I'm positive I can get it to work properly.
Hey there, our planned factions are in the description, and the Iron Hill Dwarves will be in the mod as part of Erebor.
When ever we get around to completing Mordor is when we'll do the Orc CAH hopefully.
Most likely not, but when we get to Mirkwood, they will be able to summon Elrond and some the Silver Armoured Rivendell Lancers.
I believe the map is Umbar.
If I have the time, most likely I'll alter the current one so the sword won't hit the shield, but if it's to difficult I'll just have them not do anything when selected.
If it's just the attention animations I can probably fix it then.
Most likely you'll get them from here, as a all new separate download, but nothing is final yet so if something changes I'll be sure to make an update about it later on.

That's going to be pretty difficult to implement, something similar was recently done in Shadow and Flame for the Wall Trebuchets, but I'm probably not going to do it here at least not for now.
When I rewrote the mod to ROTWK i didn't port that in.
Don't worry they'll get some face variations and have long hair.

The Spear Wall formation is intended to be used when fighting cavalry but it has other uses, When in the formation units lose 66% speed but gain 33% Armor, and have a chance (50%) to randomly negate knockback.
And the Flank Damage Penalty is available when in the formation, so an attack from behind can be devastating.
Nah this is the heavy armor look, at least for now :P.
I hope so to, but it's highly unlikely, only finished factions right now are Gondor and Isengard. Mordor's almost complete, and Erebor is starting to get some progress done.

Sorry we probably won't be doing an Arnor faction in this mod.
