How difficult would it be to convert this to use a Source engine that supports the 360controller script?
I have gotten used to the features provided by the engine that provides that script. I tried modifying a joystick.cfg for your game, and I got it working okay. However as soon as I get to the vehicle the steering is backwards. I play in a living room so using mouse and keyboard are out of the question.

Anyway, great mod so far.

Apparently I can't read either. Perhaps up at the top of the description would help people from making this mistake. So, does this require both HL2 and Counter Strike? It is listed as a HL 2 mod. I would guess yes from the pictures of combine.

The quoted text is AFTER the Download button. Sounds like a typical mistake.

Good mod.
It needs joystick support like in HL2 and EP1&2. I could not find a 360controller script. I run HL2 on a big screen tv and using mouse and keyboard are a pain.

Please add more to this mod. It is a great start for a story line.

3. Whatever you do, don't take out the metrocops. That part of it provides a certain satisfaction to the whole thing. Almost a tribute to Gordon on one level. To do the thing he couldn't do. Although, I hope Barney was not on shift. I would kind of feel bad if he got crowbarred in the process. :)

Edit:
Oh, one thing, does the Cube get damaged by the gravity waves coming from the city? I would imagine gravity or whatever the wave is, would not be stopped by dirt and rock. Also, the cube seems like a great place to hole up and provide a formidable barrier to invading forces. Are there thoughts along that line?

I just finished all of the Cube mod...I think. This is an amazing piece of work! Very well executed, engaging, and I hate the laser levels! Although I did figure out a way to get around the second really nasty laser level. I won't spoil the fun for anyone else.

Anyway, by the time I got to the end I was just in awe of the amount of work that went into this game. It is a game unto itself. Not just a mod. It lives in its own world along side the other games in the HL2 universe. I can't wait to see what else this group comes up with. I hope they continue to create very well executed story lines like this in the future. Although, I did very much want to crowbar the dude running the Cube.

I kept telling myself I was going to get that bastard and give him some steel to the forehead! I just wanted to get out of that God forsaken place! The one thing that kept me going was getting the operator. In the end I was very happy to get a bit of head caving action going. Excellent solution to the frustration and agony of running the constant gauntlet.

Very imaginative, engaging, and well thought out.
