Formerly known as Delta289 for the almost 5 years I've been on this site. I'm a giant fan of Lord Of the Rings and Warhammer 40,000. I used to be really big into star wars but due to recent events my interest in Star Wars is pretty much spent. My patience just ran thin with the decreasing quality of stories coming out of that company and I no longer wish to be associated with any of it.

A Really great mod, totally immerses you in the Game of Thrones Universe. Fight in westros, or essos, fight for kings or fight for yourself, or don't fight at all. However, their are some drawbacks. Since the mod uses the FLORIS modpack as a base, the game crashes every 5 minutes, with the same "out of video memory error" that, yeah if you lower your graphics settings, it will work for longer periods of time but eventually I always get those same errors. If there's an easy fix for that and I haven't found it, then someone tell me and I'll perhaps edit my review.
Overall it's a great mod but prepare crashes, lots of them.

This mod has a great concept and awesome new mechanics, the only reason why I'm not giving it a ten is because, at times it can be unplayable. Crashes, errors, and minor bugs plague this mod. If you can play this mod 15 minutes straight without crashing to your desktop than it's only by pure dumb luck.

It's a Really good mod, even better than the original Westros: Total War. The only reason why I'm giving this mod a 9 and not a ten is because some elements feel unfinished to me, allot of the units are vanilla M2TW models, rendered different colors and the events and unit sounds are also from the vanilla game. I'm not saying that I want to see units that look like the do in the HBO series but custom unit models with different helmets, swords, shields, etc that we haven't already seen in the base game would be cool. Still, the mod is great, and the aesthetics are somewhat enough for me to feel like I'm in westros.

The only thing that would make this mod better is if the Dark Angels were playable in the campaign

Pretty awesome. Didn't disappoint me once I figured out how to correctly install. There were a few texture bugs, glitches and historical inaccuracies (Wilhelm II is a Kaiser not a Koenig for one)

this is an EXCELLENT mod.It has everything I like (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings) and some of the things I hate (ponies) and playing as something you love pitted against something you hate is an outstanding feeling. All of the models and textures are excellent, I rarely get a CTD or error and just the sheer amount of content is overwhelming.
GIVE THIS MOD AN AWARD GOD DAMNIT!

Amazing effects and wonderful models. It's a big step up compared to the reskinned Landwehr of previous versions. However this is still a beta and the elements of a missing campaign and artilery/tank models don't fully allow me to give this a 10/10. My review is subject to change when the full version is released, but for now this will keep me occupied for a couple weeks while waiting for TGW 5.0
