The XM8 and AKM are in game. The AKM will be widespread as when you read up on the area and world history it is surprising that this gun was not a part of the vanilla game. The AKM will be widely used in the mod by npc's, especially stalkers who get them through trading with military personel and maybe on certain zombies too. The XM8 will be quite rare it will not be sold anywhere, it will only be available in the way that it's description suggests.

No this is a remake of AMK I am working on called Devolution.
There are screenshots from 2.2, 2.1 and 2.0 Geonezis somewhere in this pile. I think there's shots of kit I added to the 2.0 Repack somewhere near the opposite end.
So how is it coming along david? As you are making it, I am pretty sure it will be a stable release and wont crash at all. (:
You are recently placing a lot of screens from Devolution, but how far have you got overall? Are quests ready; are things like absolute nature, buildings integrated?
Lito, hello, The marsh map is completed and was completed by AMK. Tasks, base, characters, all done on this map, Predbannik is empty, I have a lot of it ready to be put in place and I am waiting on a new all.spawn. Then I can get the map up and running. Scripting the Predbannik quests is going to be a challenge. There will be stuff to do there during the main game storyline but I also want stuff to start there in Freeplay and intend to use Strider there once he disappears from Pripyat.
Was the Predbannik empty before you started or are you doing it from scratch?

Yeah the disappearance of Strider always bugged me, wanted smth more out of him, something with more story, helping him understand what happened.
The map was a blank canvas to start with. This is why I chose the mod. They cancelled the project and released what they had done so far. Translating there Swamps stuff was a major headache, I think that is partly why the English community ignored this mod. The machine translation was no help at all because they often had two or three variants for the same sentence and they are randomly chosen. A nice feature unless your translating it. Another nice feature is AMK stashes in the Marshes randomly change contents and that includes the stashes using the weaponry and ammo I added, If all goes well Predbannik will be the same. The idea with Strider goes with the end movie info in vanilla COP.

It's probably a whole new experience to make something almost by yourself.
