So mine keeps crashing when I try to launch it says cant open game.ltx. Ive installed it not into program files and i have deleted the user.ltx and still the problem persists. Anyone have any ideas?

Can you actually get into pripyat? I haven't played that far into it yet but i haven't seen anyone else get there either.

I just put this on my gaming laptop that runs windows 8 and it runs amazingly. i dont really understand it though i have it on my PC also which is much better for gaming but it doesn't run half as well. i don't know if the newer windows version makes a difference or if the laptop just plain runs it better. :P

so do you apply 5.1.2 too the great war mod before it goes into the napoleon folder or after its already there?

Nope all of the great war files are where they are supposed to be.

so i have a new problem. when i launch it says. Unhandled exception has occured in your application if you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Below that it says.

Could not find a part of the path program files\steam\steamapps\common\napoleon total war\data\the great war\\files\'.

so I got it to work the first time but when i tried to launch it again it says no packs in mod folder. Any help as always would be greatly appreciated.

I'm probably just stupid but when i put this in my data folder and started the game. nothing changed. Yes i am using Napoleon not empire. but yeah that's my problem any help would be appreciated.

yeah. I had a problem earlier where the game would crash on new game. I fixed the normal version but black road still crashes when i try to make a new game.

Are you on steam version?

The game is great but is black road functional? Just curious to see if anyone has got it working.

SO CLOSE THAT TIME! it crapped itself in the intro. as long as i can consistantly get it passed that first load screen i should be able to mcgiver a fix. Thanks for the help.

so my game crashes on start of a new game. I have the steam version and i selected it on install. The menu loads fine but it crashes when the bar hits full on a new game. i have set the game data line to $game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\. I have re validated the files and i have done a computer restart. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

So I'm having a problem with this. When i start a new game it loads all the way and crashes before entering the game. I have a high enough end PC that this should be an easy run. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If this comes out mostly bug free and running smoothly they can take all the time they need.

I like the sniper class but its too in the middle. It really doesn't give you a any advantage or disadvantage like the other two do.

I waited 6 years for black mesa source. i could wait a couple more months for this if it ment releasing a more quality product instead of just rushing to satisfy peoples impatience.

i might cry if i cant get version 2 to work. i gave up trying with 1 and i want to play SO BAD. but even if i cant mod looks awesome. keep it up

again please let this be more steam friendly. i could not get the first version to work and i have a very high performance computer.
