Have you gone through the installation video above? If so what kind of trouble are you having and please be specific; posts like "It won't work" don't give much room for others to help you resolve your issue :D

If I am correct in assuming you followed all the steps, I am not to sure why this is happening. My advice would be to wait for the updated version of the mod manager to come out and see if that fixes your problem. I know that is annoying but the other option is to ask for help from compelx (mod manager creator) with a PM and attach a screenshot of the errors.

I to get the crash dumps and the mod works fine like you said but the mod is not, and mostly likely will never be compatible with campaign. However for the crash dumps, you can post them in the link provided as a bug with a copy of the error attached, as of right now I am doing another fresh install of Sup Com 2 to try and remove this issue.

This is true, each research station has a draining cost on your economy. I believe it is -1 mass and -10 energy income. This system is in place to halt tech rushing early on and/or forces you to expand to handle the growing drain on your economy. It is still possible to go the tech route early on but you will take a hit to your production capabilities until you get into tier 2 structures.

As for the AI, they are being worked on for the next release. At the moment they do seem to be a bit cheesy when it comes to their economy due to it working slightly differently to the human player (someone correct me on this if I am misinformed).

I assure you though, versing another person completely levels the playing field and can be much more enjoyable at this stage of the mods development.

Build times for EXP units/buildings are subject to change as the mod is in alpha but most likely they wont be altered very much (perhaps a min or 2). The build times are related to forge alliance build times for experimentals and if your want to reduce the build time/construction cost, this can be achieved through providing adjacency bonuses with tier 1/2/3 power generators and/or mass extractors.

As for the fire power of the experimental that you mentions above (tier 5) their strength reflects the time and cost that was needed to build the unit, however all units/buildings will get continually balanced as new releases come out.

.....for the new ACUs I mean :D Just keep in mind that coding the new ACUs into the game will probably be one of the most time consuming tasks for the RVE team, so quite far off at this point.....

.....still you never know, they might surprise us haha!

New models (to replace FA models) will be added in most likely with every new release, as for units later future plans are to add in new ACUs for each faction (which will be one of the harder accomplishments so don't expect that any time soon), God Level EXP/Tier 6 and navy models/unit will be added and replaced.

The Unitport sub mod is headed by ALBINOsnowball and will most likely take some time to be functional for release and if you have any further questions about it, this is the person to talk to.

Finally, the majority of FX and projectiles will be added in much later as balancing, bug fixing and modeling are priority atm.

Please don't quote me on any of the above, this is just information I have gathered from following the mod. If there are any errors in what I have written I will most likely be corrected by the Mod Authors, because if anyone knows where this mod is headed, they do haha ;p
