Hey! Sorry I never got back to you as regarding the voice acting, life got busy and now with college I've lost even more time and equipment. I'm glad to see this game developed so well from its old days way back when lol and despite the few minor details I spotted in the skirmish video, it looked genuinely awesome. I do have one question to ask though, why not add a parachute for when you bail out of aerial vehicles? Anyway, glad to see this piece has come together so well, keep up the great work!
College has been busy for me otherwise I'd have been getting back to you on the voice acting. Once I hit basic this summer and pick up my educational stipend I plan on diverting some of those funds into picking up a new system and recording equipment to assist you with voice acting. I would hope to have it all in before you release but if I can't make it in time I'd be more than happy to give you some samples anyway if you'd like. Still very much excited for this game!
If you still need that voice actor, I'd be more than happy to offer my services. Free of charge of course, unfortunately I've lost my recording equipment so I'd need to get new equipment beforehand. If you're interested let me know.

So as far as I can tell, the teleport takes you into a parallel universe where Alyx is working together with Breen.

So that's my take on this mod anyway.
What makes you say that? The last update was in March yes but Black Mesa has been in production since 2k5. All mods usually hit a stale period and I think this one is, hopefully, reaching the end of its own and will bounce back with activity. Then again maybe it's dying, not dead, and is in its death throes. Who knows?
Well when you start recruiting maybe I could lend hand, won't say for sure though till your recruiting. :)

If you have any mute characters I would happily be a voice actor ;) but seriously, if you'd like to hear a sample from me send me some dialogue and any notes you might like me to incorporate (accents, slurs, etc.)I'' send it to you and you can see how you like it :)
You do know there ARE other gamemodes, and it's not completely finished (If you would take the time to read the updates) if deathmatch was the only mode I would agree that it would be a disappointment but it's not so calm down. There's more on the way. :)
Also will there be vehicles? I would love to fly a UH-60 or even one of those C-130s I used to get from the Dollar Store when I was young, anyone know what I'm talking about? The green plastic planes which could transport troops and tanks :) I loved those.
If you need a voice actor, send me a selection of dialogue and I'll see what I can do. Though it may be a little while because I may be getting sick x_X anyway, send me some dialogue and I'll send you what I record. If you want any specific accents or want me to try a few different accents let me know and I'll give it a try.
First of all thank you for replying to my post, second I'm glad to hear you'll be using the later source engines for your project because I don't have a copy of Half Life Source :) will continue to watch this mod and can't wait to play both versions :D
How's it coming along? And for another note, will we need Half Life Source for the Source version? Or can we use any Source game?
Great to hear that Go-Mod will be seeing some new features :) I fully support this mod and think it's great and now with a new leader at the helm I know that this mod will grow and develop even more. Thanks for all your hard work and good luck :)
That's wonderful to hear! I can't wait to start playing as one of the many nameless guards that were featured in GoldenEye :) and perhaps you might consider recreating the story mode? I know that;s a lot to ask but if you did this would make my heart swell even more with joy :D thanks for all your hard work and my condolences for your loss :(

Oh well that's okay then :) but the barney problem...
So I downloaded some skins to replace in Go Mod and most of them worked except:
_A barney skin which did nothing but give him a military vest and a different head from OP4
-A grunt model which has ragdoll abilities, which is strange because they showed a picture of it IN Go Mod so I was confused when it didn't work.
Whenever I try to load a map it either A)Loads a little then goes back to the title or B)exits the game when I try to spawn either.
Okay, just to clarify, if I were to use the Shepard models for Barney...The animations would have to match?
To anyone who wants something to do:
If you could replace the barney models with the OP4 sodliers I'd be very grateful considering I have VERY little experience when it comes to modding.

I played the demo and I love it! But the living map was a bit laggy near the cafeteria when I looked at the stack of cans. Can't wait for this mod to be out because I am excited for it! X3
Okay so I have a few questions:
1.Can you replace the NPC models? Like Bareny to Gordon?
2.Is there a way to give the custom props different names?
3.Can you play through the story maps?
4.Why does Notarget not work?
5.I replaced one of the custom props with an osprey but I can't stand in it.
6.Is there a way to get more NPCs, say like the OP4 marines?
