Roughly in comparison to Skyrim, how big is it? Looks impressive.
It's taken a long while and many cancellations but at last we are finally going to get a next gen Battlefront. I'm stocked! The only features I really hope for from previous titles is third person and a single player conquest mode. Mod tools would be a nice addition too but considering Dice didn't release any for Battlefield 3 I'm not too optimistic.
Has to be one of the best custom designed maps for BF2!
This is a great map!:)
I'm in the process of updating the map and have made several changes mainly to the modes. XL has been replaced with uber mode that now has a 100 units for each side and 1000 reinforcements. Uber mode (large conquest) has also got a larger playing area with the addition of another CP and more vehicles. Regular conquest is basically the same but I've added one extra vehicle to each side and hero support. I've also made a few small tweaks to the map that aren't really noticeable but the map design is basically the same. The night version has been removed from all modes apart from CW hunt. This will be the final which I hope to release by the end of the month.
^ hmmm!? lol!
Try both these links, the top one is for a possible solution, and make sure you've got the correct update from lucasarts, intenational or domestic:
No prone in BF2 unfortunately, and there's no way to add it, as it's hard coded.
Thank you, that means a lot.
I believe it is, converted for use in SWBF.
No, just place the TJW folder in the addon folder. You might need to create the addon folder if you haven't already got one in the GameData folder.
You extract the TJW folder to C/Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Battlefront II/GameData/addon, or if you have the steam version put the folder here: C/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/star wars battlefront ii/GameData/addon.
Thanks for your suggestions, I really appreciate it, and will try to improve the map in those areas for any future update.
Thanks, you're welcome! To get the extra content, I really recommend installing the Dark Times II mod by Maveritchell, and Battlefront Extreme 2.2 by ARC_Commander, which you can either get here or on SWBFFiles.
Yes, loads. SWBattlefront Files, and Gametoast.com are the main modding sites for this game, if your interested.
I've been thinking of getting this mod as I've been playing Forgotten Hope 2. Does the realism of this mod compare, or is it completely different? I do like a challenge but not to the detriment of fun.
Short answer, "yes" to all of the above.
If people are having difficulty getting this to work, and are playing the main mod in widescreen this fix should work; copy the Launch First Strike shortcut, and rename it to First Strike Singleplayer, then right-click, go to Properties and under the Shortcut tab change "Target" to:
"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142Launcher.exe" +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +modPath mods/FS_SP
you can also put:
+szx 1366 +szy 768 after +widescreen 1, but change the numbers to your native screen resolution.
...and then change "Start in" to:
"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142
Click Apply then OK, and it should work.
That's a real shame. Part 1 was very good. Anyway, good luck with any future project.
Is this what you call a spoof mod. Very good, I've voted.
Looking very impressive... or should I say "Impressive, most impressive"
Keep up the good work. This is definitely one of best looking Star Wars mods I've seen.
I remember when this mod only consisted of the BF1 conversion maps... now it's a hole new game with the inclusion of the KotOR era, new game modes, improved sides and additional maps. It's given this game longevity and the quality and scope is just awe inspiring. It should at least be in the top 10 for mod of the year.
What I like about this mod is it's co-op... when it's done well like it is here you wont want to play conquest multiplayer as much because it is so much fun. Nothing like a bit of bot bashing to make you feel better.
