Did you ever see any info suggesting that we're aiming to make our mod "true to BMS" or "100% accurate to BMS"?
I don't think so, since that would be untrue.

BMS mod is just an inspiration to us, we don't feel obligated to make anything in our mod consistent with it.

i recall gearbox already had some explaination, as in his team had different orders or something. in blue shift two soldiers say that they have to dump bodies cos "shephard's team didn't make it"

but i wouldn't mind few encounters where guards start shooting at you at sight cos they saw hecu in action earlier.
maybe a semi-scripted event where wounded guard sits by a wall and starts shooting at you. if you don't kill him he eventually runs out of ammo and you can "persuade him" via use button that you're not a threat.

well, i'm pretty sure lots of them are tired from spending so much time on BM and aren't too fond of idea of working on the same kind of project anytime soon.
But like Obama wrote they are welcomed to apply to us, just like all the other talented modders out there.

i'm sorry, but my metamorphosis went too far to stop it now.
there's office complex growing out of my arm and my guts started resembling test chambers. i also seem to have developed miniature scientists, walking around wearing their glasses and tiny ridiculous ties.

original model is blocky, has a low res stretched texture and really exaggerated proportions, labcoat glued to the body, 4 fingers, skull overlay etc. so no, i wouldn't say that this looks the same.

especially proportions are different. in fact i'd say that on this concept i strayed too much towards the "average human" proportions, while some exaggeration should be retained for a more menacing look.

also, this is not the only zombie concept i made. others are slightly more experimental.

there is a high chance that we will have a custom headcrab model, though it's far from being a top priority right now.
I do like HL1 alien designs more than HL2 ones so i'm definitely a supporter of Remake the Crab movement.

oh come on. how many games did main FO series have? Two. that's not enough for a franchise to "get repetive" because of sticking to the original gameplay formula.

I'm sure that fans would complain if FO3 was made on same engine with same resolution and same sprites as fo2.

But fans WEREN'T getting sick of isometric view and the unique atmosphere that Beth replaced with their own stuff.

In fact Fallout 3: Van Buren also had a new 3D engine and gameplay changes.
yet it felt much more of a sequel to FO2 than bethesda's version of FO3 ever did.

are you telling people not to trust their eyes just because it was made by a pro modeler?

sure, warhammer characters use slightly cartoony proportions but in this case you simply went too far.
