Do you think that you will have to remove the Strategic Shipyard from the roster then? Or are you planning on doing something else with it?
I have a bit of an issue to report with the Hiigaran Strategic Shipyard.
It seems that whenever I (try to) attach the Mothership and the other seperate stations to the shipyard, I can't produce anything (ships, other modules, weapons, etc) until I detach the said ship.
How long do I usually have to wait until I can produce stuff again? Or is this a bug?

It's an open Alpha, to see how much they were able to model, texture and rig so far. Like I said, it's far from done. Besides, it's better to see for yourself than just watching a news page. Oh, btw, you're using the wrong Alpha, use the Soviets and Allied Open Alpha 3.2, Desura kinda sucks right now.
To add onto that, they are releasing the mod in parts.
Release 1: new Allies and the Confederates.
Release 2: new Soviets and the Order of the Talon.
Release 3: new Japanese and the Atomic China
Release 4: Protectorate and the Mediterranean Syndicate.
Release 5: The campaign(s).
It's an Alpha. It's far from done.

Nope, in the latest update, only Soviets and Allies are there.
it's a shame, really. I always loved the infiltrators for that...
