I have several years experience with both 2D and 3D design, mainly using Photoshop to create logos, graphics and textures for games and mods. As for 3D, I have alot of experience with the Valve Hammer Editor, and have several maps released for both Counter-Strike: Source, Sven Co-op, Team Fortress 2 and Synergy.

Very cool! Only thing I sort of dislike from the latest video is the amount of screen flashing/flickering and the bright radial scan, those could probably be toned down a little. Especially if they are skills you are going to be using a lot.

Yeah, they are slightly too reflective. Would be nice to see some grey or blue-ish tiles aswell though, as it gets very monotone. Maybe the floor could be more navy-colored?

I think it's odd how I haven't heard about this mod until now, even though I've been looking for something that followed the simple, yet entertaining gameplay of Vampire Slayer.

Looks like a good concept, although I hope you get rid of the HL2 aspects of it. E.g. the weapons and settings, maybe changing the "petcrab" to a shadow creature or something really screwed up.

We're looking at re-incorporating them once we find someone who's able to do it. There hasn't been an official announcement, but we're looking for level designers, modellers, animators and more to revive some of the older things, and make create new features. Right now it's a bit hard to get work done without the proper artists.

On the other hand, I'm currently working on a new map with several more textures coming up.
I'm hoping that someone will be able to put the custom textures to good use.

The eyes look way too good compared to the rest of the character.
You should increase the texture quality on the character aswell to make the eyes not look out of place.

Whether you're going to use my textures or not, you're currently displaying them as it's all your work. I thought you'd have the dignity to let authors of your 3rd-party content know that you're using their work before you display it as your own production.

There's nothing senseless about giving the original authors credit for their work, whether you're making a mod or a map. By saying it's senseless, it looks like you don't really give a damn about who's content you're using.

Also, if my textures are just "placeholders", why didn't you just use the default HL2 / Portal textures?

Why is it named GTA : Left 4 Dead? You can get sued if you're ripping off their game like that- editing their commercials and stealing their artwork.

Wouldn't it just be better to make up a name that someone isn't already using, instead of ripping off other games?

I played this mod for an hour or so, and I'm sure to say the gameplay was very unique. Unique in the most horrible imaginable way.

First of all, it looks like you took Kanonball from HL and decided to replace all the awesome tackles with some annoying guns. It felt like I was playing a modded HL2DM server to a point, with silly features such as a superjump and hook plugin.

Another thing that disgusts me is the look of the HUD which looks like a mockup concept drawn in paint. It's ok to put colors in it, but what you managed to make is just heartbreaking.

As for the good parts of the mod, the player models are very well modelled, and you have a rank system of some sort.
