Development for Last Man Standing 2 has begun!
I will have more on this but just wanted to mention that Standalone LMS is going to be happening in the near future on top of Platinum Arts Sandbox Free 3D Game Maker. This way too anyone can download it and play it instead of having to own Doom 3. Check out Sandbox sometime!

Last Man Standing Coop Mod is a Doom 3 Single Player and Multiplayer cooperative modification that aims to bring back the feel of the classic Dooms. Our LMS Mod gametype is survival in nature where you face swarms of attacking monsters to the adrenaline pumping energy of heavy metal soundtracks. We also fully support Cooperative play in the Single Player levels through the SP Coop gametype and the Doom 3 expansion pack ROE through the gametype ROE Coop. Also the Classic Doom for Doom 3 Mod has been integrated into LMS 4.0 to provide cooperative support! The monsters keep coming, and the bullets keep flying. Let the terror begin...

For all of you fine folks at moddb we have some awesome new screenshots for you to enjoy! The first two are concept art for the game, and the second two are concept screens of the upcoming trailer :)
Regarding our development plan we are planning on starting a Kickstarter project for the game when we have finished our trailer which we are expecting to have released in 1-2 weeks. From then on we expect to take about 8 months for development time. In addition to the story mode we are planning on doing some kickstarter exclusive zombie invasion maps where you try to see how long you can hold off against zombie waves! This is for my LMS fans ;D In addition if we reach certain funding thresholds we'll be adding new features such as a Mac build, coop, and potentially even release the source code so people can make their own commercial games. you need to download 1.3.1 patch for doom 3 if you want to play
i want to play this mod but nobody is online
I was trying to play this mod and when i launch it it goes to a black screen like the game is loading up and then this console window pops up closing the game what do i do? I have the disc version of Doom 3 do i need the Steam version?
when i put it in i get to the loading screen and then says doom 3 has shut down any help?
Hmmf, it's a shame that the few servers existing are so... desolate.
Also, some use of cheating wich is... even more of a shame.

Yes it is. It allows coop campaign, as well as maps created specifically for coop.
Is still somebody playing this mod ?
Outstanding mod! Has given me lots of fun, since release.
Too bad nobody ever plays ROE, though.
And I would have liked to see the "In hell" mod/maps implemented... Yeah, I know it wont happen :p
