I honestly don't know if there's support per se but my experience with other Clausewitz games (mainly Crusader Kings II, but also March of the Eagles and Europa Universalis IV) leads me to believe that if it isn't it could probably be achieved using events. (For example they could probably use an event to replace all humans with another (otherwise identical) species whose only difference is the clothing. Obviously this wouldn't be the most elegant solution but it would probably work.)

Almost right. Their original homeworld was "Tollan", which had the volcanoes and original gate. In the episode where SG-1 met them, they were evacuating because their planet had become uninhabitable. They established a new homeworld on a different planet (called "Tollana"), which never had a gate, which is why they built their own.

In order to enter a solar system, you have to go there first, so the game needs to know the locations of the stars to know when you have entered the system

Unless it's a very bad viewing angle, the DHD is wrong - the buttons should be round, not an oval. The gate's pretty good though

Sorry to burst everyones bubble, but Last Stand is dead, and has been for a while. I wish I could have finished it, but I just didn't have time. To Bludger1, I don't know what gave you that idea - no campaigns were even started (although a basic storyline was written up), most of the buildings weren't done, nor were any of the infantry, and only about half the tanks/vehicles/aircraft. It will never come out, and I doubt I'll ever release my models to the public. Sorry guys.

Almost. I made this model for this mod, but as the mod died, it went into ROTR instead, with a few minor modifications. I am a member of ROTR (although kinda inactive) and they needed a new havoc, so it made sence

The AT_TE was a walker in the prequel trilogy (Eps 2 and 3 I think) and yeh, it does look kinda like that, although that had 6 legs.

Its no more unrealistic than Generals itself. The vast majority of units are either real life weapons of war, or based off of prototypes or unique designs. There are a few kinda sci-fi ones, like the tesla coil, but thats really no worse than things like the microwave tank.

Thats awesome! The spine reminds me of the one on the Terran marine in the StarCraft II CG trailer. I really like How it looks mechanical, but the design is kinda organic (In terms of the curves etc.) rather than being blocky (like master chief for example). Can't wait to see it textured!

That AAT isn't bad, but looks a bit distorted to me. The Bit at the top-front, below the main gun it far too wide and the bit where the upper section meets the wide semi-circular bit is way off - too narrow. The gun itself looks totally wrong as well. You might also consider adding some more shadowy/dirty/oily bits - looks too yellow and clean

Actually I believe that refers to the software itself, as in the executable, meaning that you cannot re-program the game in any way (to say, maker a no-cd crack). Modding does not modify the executable, but the ini scripts, which are quite separate. If modding were illegal, then do you really think EA would publish modding tools? I think not (they would just amend their EULA to make modding legal, which it is anyway)

"Codes" are open for use, and even if another team were to use them, it would be impossible to prove that it was taken from another mod, and not just a coincidence. But the command bar is not code, it is media, which is still the property of ROTR and Liamh who created it.

So you want everyone to rip-off other peoples work then?? If modders in general did not take that attitude, then there would be far fewer unique mods. In fact that is part of the problem I think. We want everything in ROTR to be unique to our mod, but if Ergitler is to just take our media, then it is no longer "the ROTR command bar" it is "a command bar which is used by ROTR"

YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE NOT ALL MODS ARE OPEN SOURCE, in fact very few are.

There are some sites which provide "public" models etc, which can be used by anyone who downloads them, but anything else not allowed. In fact, unless the author specifically gives permision for his/her media (models, textures, art, code, whatever) to be used, its actually illegal under intellectual property laws (athough a case would never stand up in court unless money was involved, but the principle is still there).
Besides, by what you're saying about nips logic meaning that you should have to create your own engine...well it would also mean that NO-ONE could ever make a computer program, because no-one would be able to use any programming languages, and even machine code wouldn't be allowed because the programmer didn't invent binary, so programming languages couldn't even be created.
EA released the rights to create in-game media anyway, so it would be allowed, we're just not allowed to use EAs media for commercial purposes (or in another game engine etc...the very reason a number of total conversion mods are shut down, because big companies (EA, Blizzard, Microsoft etc) don't want their intellectual property to be stolen.
And yes, you should acknowledge whoever made the media, but also ask permission to use it, if nothing else out of sheer politeness. Just think about it, you don't see (professional) movie makers taking bits of other films and splicing them into their own movies (unless it is an as a reference or a parody or something, and then they have ask the permission of any studios, producers etc involved)

I think I've ranted on enough now, but you have to see that unless the author has given permission, nothing is in the public domain. We (the ROTR team as a whole) did not give permission to use the command bar and that's that. anyway, if he can create all those model textures, surelly a command bar can't be hard, unless (and this is more likely considering) he stole them from other mods as well

kit-bashing is where you remove/add/rescale/duplicate bits of an existing model/models to make a new one, like with that bird-of-pray thing

Unfortunatelly no, it will not be released soon. Due to other commitments, mainly school, I havn't had time to add anything new to it since last year. I have now finished school however, and should be able to work on it all summer (until I go to Uni in September at least), along with other projects I'm doing, such as my web-comic, and other mods I am a member of. Also, it is no where near ready for a beta release, let alone a full release, so you'll just have to be patient I'm afraid.
