Well, it is a big luck, at least, to know how this tank at all looked like.
And yes. For these purposes it used those side hemi-cylinders. During the moving with high speed, before a ditch, those cylinders rotated ahead and abuted in the obstacle (natural or constructed), thus jolting the tank up and ahead through the ditch.
Not the most detailed picture. It is difficult to make out how it would work. I'm guessing rotating those hemi-cylinders maybe?
