- What is Twisted Insurrection? -
Twisted Insurrection is a stand alone modification of Tiberian Sun, meaning you don't need to own Tiberian Sun to play. The mod features a completely new in-depth story-line which puts you in an alternate timeline where the Brotherhood of Nod were victorious during the first Tiberian War rather than GDI; After the Brotherhood used the Ion Cannon to destroy an irreplaceable monumental structure, the Global Defense initiative lost all UN support leaving them in total disarray. This is where our story begins.
Along with the complete overhaul and replacing of the original games graphics and having it's own all new soundtrack, Twisted Insurrection brings you all new units, infantry and naval forces to command as either The Brotherhood of Nod or the Global Defense Initiative in both singleplayer and multiplayer missions along with all new structures and base defenses to build as well! The mod also introduces the GloboTech corporation and contains all new campaigns for both GDI and Nod, plus some additional bonus challenge missions and several hidden maps so there is always plenty more to play. TI also features all new game-modes such as Survival, Twisted Dawn and Checkpoint Mode and has over 100 multiplayer maps to play either online or in skirmish mode.
Do you have what it takes to drag the shattered Global Defense Initiative out of ruin? Or will you crush all who oppose the will of Kane and his Inner Circle? The choice is yours commander.
- Version 0.39 New Features -

Probably one of the most important features in Twisted Insurrection 0.39 is the new and improved Client, granting you the ability to customize your Skirmish and Online games with loads of new options and tweaks, pre-set teams, locations and alliances on all maps (even with AI players) and have many new game modes to try such as Twisted Dawn, Survival, Meat Grinder, Unholy Alliance, Timeless Insurrection and Ultimate Insurrection.

************! I was going to sleep!
Oh, well, it's only Saturday...
Also, I want to add: The new GDI Tech Centre genuinely looks Awesome.
HG_SCIPION did a good job on the Tech Center, I agree! It unfortunately has some animation errors due-to incorrect ZData, but it's nothing noticeable really, we'll still fix it when we can.
Where's the documentation on the different game modes?
There's information on gamemodes in the Readme file provided with the download, or do you mean a changelog section dedicated to game modes?
So considering this is version 0.39, I'm curious, will you guys eventually make globotech a fully playable faction and will they have a campaign too? Sorry if this has been asked before. Btw, I love this mod, keep up the great work!
GloboTech being playable is the number 1 requested feature and I have considered it being a possibility in TI's future, including a campaign of some sort too, yes, but it is a low priority on the grounds that it would require a huge amount of work. When we finish Nod and GDI's graphical assets, let's say it's a big chance we will begin on that... maybe...
Good to hear that globotech will come in the future as a playabel faction and i love new features in the mod. Keep up the good work.
Looks like the forgottens also making an apperance in some form, if that pictures legit
yeah in the editor you can find 3 forgotten building and a small assortment of soldiers
The game don`t work with NVIDIA DSR enable, FIX THIS BUG !! If i disable DSR from nvidia driver the game works well, but with DSR enable i get BLACK SCREEN :(
BTW the mod is cool.
That isn't something we could do anything about. If there's someone who should fix it, it's Nvidia, but I doubt they're interested in fixing anything for the 16-year-old Tiberian Sun engine.
I see, i just tell you what not working. I do not use DSR so i can skip this problem easy. DSR is bluring your image in games is not something very ok, is more like a new marketing ******** from nevidia and AMD to with VSR. :P
Very Cool!
I see that the Nod finale is included, does this means that both campaigns are complete now?
That's all I've been waiting to play it. I didn't want to start it and then have to wait to play the rest, that would result in both a somewhat broken continuity (because of the big pause) and me getting my *** kicked if I had not played the mod in some time. xD
The Nod Finale is included, but that doesn't mean the campaign is finished altogether, there will still be changes and additions to the campaign over the course of time, we already have lots of ideas for some new missions too. It is however deemed Nod's final mission and where the story ends, for the time being.
Please note that Nod Mission 16 is known to have some FPS issues on some systems, we are working on fixing that.
When i try to play skirmish i get a "requires 16 pixel depth error" campaign fine
Cant wait for gdi finale
The 16-Bit Pixel Depth error is caused when the game tries to launch in windowed mode but doesn't have the executable set to launching in said 16-Bit Pixel Depth.
If you're having an issue with the skirmish only and not the campaign then I'm not certain what the issue is there. I'll direct Rampastring to assist you if it is a client issue.
I'm not certain what the issue here is either. The campaign mission selector and the skirmish lobby use a similar way of launching the game, and both include QRes for switching to 16-bit color mode in windowed mode.
You can try disabling windowed mode and checking if it helps.
Thanks, id i use IE-draw then skirmish works, if a bit glitchy/laggy. If in default non windowed then it works at correct speed but this old problem of the screen not changing unless i go out and back in returns so i think i'm screwed :-P
You didn't link to the full changelog. =o
My bad. It's there now.
Wrong links for 4th ( Ti.ppmsite.com instead of Ti.ppmsite.com) and 9th ( Media.moddb.com instead of Ti.ppmsite.com) images for me.
You mean bad redirections?
One must not post news articles when tired. Thanks for pointing that out to me, it's fixed now.
Damn... how I'm glad that this is still ongoing. :thumbs up: (:
Mhh Titan beat exosuit
Huh Titan beat Eclipse
Titan beats everything!
Alright I could do this all day
If I didn't know any better, I'd say you liked Titans.
Any vehicle capable of crushing heavy vehicles deserves respect, and a wide berth
Too bad that the Titan wasn't capable of crushing vehicles in Tiberian Sun.
It suck to be NOD, here is our most powerful weapon, the cyborg commando
"mal-func-tion"
"eew! Someone scrape that cyborg off before we enter the base"
The mammoths superiority doesn't come from the railguns or the missiles, its the four legs allowing it to crush four tanks or cyborgs simultaneously
(Facepalm)
What a beast of a Great Mod! :D
gah this just appeared in my updates today! my updates try to hide this from me lol. Great Job :)
oh nevermind... i already had it... i just forgot... still great job.
Awesome mod, you did a great job, but.. do you will add an Alien Faction.. like Scrins or a new creation from your mind :P ?
So, good luck for the next :)
(sorry for bad English) #French fan
