This group is exactly what the name implies. A group for people who are Christians. If you're a Christian then please join us. We're a place on ModDB for Christians to gather and talk. It's as simple as that.
While I am aware that -Memorial Day- is when us Americans take a moment to honor our -fallen- troops, this is still worth posting.

Thank you, veterans, for your service and sacrifice.
Christians, remember to thank Christ for sacrificing his life for your own so you may have something that nobody deserves; God's grace and His mercy.
That's true, that is where my dad told me....
Except only Jesus died in order to give everyone life; including those that killed him. While a soldier is usually ordered to take another person's life. In an ideal world wars would look like this: D.ibtimes.co.uk
Until then all we can do is what Jesus asked us to do instead of actively taking lives to protect our stuff.
My friend, in a ideal world there would be no wars at all.
I believe that Christ was right, in trying to be peacemakers where possible. I like that idea, and I believe a just man should try to find a way to solve conflicts peacefully before jumping into war. I'm not against that path, nor do I think anyone else is here.
However, in the world we live there are going to be situations where those we try to reason with will reject peace. There will be those who have their own agenda and do not care for what's right. We see it everyday, and every hour more people die because of it.
It's like when I read Starship Troopers, I can keep telling myself the day will come, when will study war no more. But until that day, the soldier is a necessary fact of life. It's either us or them, and we don't all fight for the same flag or same reasons unfortunately.
I posted a image on the U.S. group in regards to Veterans day, evidently JCD wanted to post some more in relation to it here. I don't have problem with it. Although I probably wouldn't have posted something so in relation to the United States here unless it was a special occasion or I wanted it in broader terms as I tried to clarify in the next image. Ive heard people say this group seems more for American Christians. Not that I don't like that but I'd prefer people from anywhere feel welcome here. Not just a group for the USA.
