Not that I celebrate Christmas anymore. It's a commercialised holiday that families and friends think is about getting stuff and if you don't get your family and friends anything when they've got you stuff, God help you.
"But Christmas is a pagan holiday!"
I disagree but rather than getting into an argument about that, don't forget, the Winter Solstice is forgotten too really. Pagan, Christian or not, any religious significance Christmas once had is gone.
Besides, the fact that there are some atheists and anti-theists who refuse to say "Christmas" says it's more about Christianity being involved rather than them fighting for some pagan heritage they don't even believe in.
TBH I don't have a problem with the term "happy holidays" but still. When I read stuff about how saying "Christmas" might offend Jews, Muslims and atheists, I laugh. Only a small minority of people are offended. The rest don't care and many people of other faiths/non-faiths celebrate Christmas anyway.

Whether or not it's offensive, I'm still gonna say it. Tough for them.
You know I have an Atheist (well I suppose now he claims Agnostic) friend who had never heard about the whole Happy Holidays vs. Merry Christmas controversy, and when I told him how some people especially in the USA are often offended by "Merry Christmas" he just laughed and said something akin to "Oh you Americans, lol."
So yeah, like you said... it really is a small group of folks that lose their **** when someone says Merry Christmas. But do we really care about those SJW losers? No. And we, nor anyone else should. They don't deserve the time it takes to listen to their B.S.
There are times I actually believe some of these atheists are like living, breathing B.S. factories in how they churn out the lamest excuses just to strip us Christians of rights.
Honestly I feel ashamed to be of the same species as them. They cry tolerance all the time, why don't they show tolerance to us? It's hypocrisy at it's finest is what it is.

Yet, would they say the same to a Muslim? No. The prime difference being that to atheists Christians don't have as much of a 'kill-you-while-you-sleep' image. So they strip us of our freedom of speech and our privileges in general because we're the target that's least likely to bite back.
You are correct. However they are mistaken about that. When it comes to judgement, it God's call, not ours.
I'd much rather be in the hands of man when it comes to judgement than God's. No one is more thorough than Him...
I'm not saying we SHOULD bite back, I'm just remarking on the motivation of our 'critics.'

Yep, well we were never meant to bite back on trivial stuff like this in the first place.
That's the big thing about God. He rules his Empire through love, not fear. Having Christ do what he did for us was the greatest expression of love one could give.
However, this doesn't mean he will let corruption go unnoticed. God will take his time with people to set them straight. But ultimately if they continue to refuse, they will be dealt with. He's the same God he was in the old testament as in the new testament.
It's just this time he gave us a way to make it right with him.

No we shouldn't care MattmanDude, you're right but when we have certain companies, organizations and media too scared to say "Merry Christmas" out of fear of offending a bunch of social justice warriors from Reddit, we have a problem and that's political correctness gone mad.
I'd say the atheists that get offended by 'merry christmas' are a very small minority. The whole controversy was blown up by certain far-right sensationalist news sources.
In the past I've typically said Merry Christmas around people I know who celebrate it and happy holidays to strangers (~1/3rd of our country practice religions other than christianity, so its a matter of being polite)

Yes, Christmas is STILL pagan and some references still remain. You cannot mix the unholy with God. God did not command us to celebrate Jesus' birth. He has always existed anyway, so how can His birth be celebrated? We are supposed to shun and utterly despise the ungodly traditions of the world and cling to God and His commandments. Christmas and Easter are unholy abominations that cannot and MUST not be mixed with our faith. It can't be done while still expecting to be saved. To partake of such traditions is just a form of spiritual adultery and God does not like it! Don't even get me started on Halloween.
I celebrate Easter because it was the time Christ was resurrected as a sign of remembrance.
I celebrate Christmas also as a sign of remembrance for when God sent Christ down to Earth to change this world forever. Even if it wasn't the exact day.
We can celebrate times like this as Christians. However they are meant to be around just these events pertaining to our faith. Not paganism or anything like that.
Halloween is like the day of the devil if you ask me. Personally I just ignore it.
I'm fine calling it Christmas...
its just a holiday though. You spend time with family and friends, and although there's no 'religious' significance doesn't mean there's no significance at all.
As you get older the gift thing becomes more and more redundant. The occasion starts to become more of an excuse to wear reindeer sweaters and break out of your ordinary routine. There's nothing unhealthy about that.
