May as well take this as an opportunity to clear up some misconceptions.
Christ did not transform water into "alcoholic" wine but rather grape juice.

Letgodbetrue.com

Quite a few scriptures explaining the Bible stance on alcohol there, and well explained too.
Bible pretty much condemns drinking alcohol save the precious exception of imminent doom.

Proverbs 31:6,7
"Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more."

If death is certain, and you don't want to think about it, than there you go.
As for me, I'd rather be sober when I go. Even if it was a firing squad.

But the catch about a Christian, death has no sting for us. There is no misery to it.
So really, is death really that depressing? No reason to drink yourself into a stupor, your about to meet the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. And you better be on your BEST behavior!
