Took discipline to be a monk.
Especially to give so much, for the sake of their faith.
A good way of life for those that could take it
On a side note they are amazing to play as a class in any RPG that has them

RPG monks are based on eastern asian monks not on christian ones. The class that could represent these monks the best is probably the cleric.
