EA, once again showing their dedication to make the game and its features, like this incredible AI always the best possible!
They are probably using the "hunt" script, which tells them to attack the enemy nearest to them. They can't reach the enemy nearest to them, so they try to do the impossible. They could at least spam aircraft in these situations. =/
LOL, the game wasn't supposed to handle islands or island-like maps. O.o
Also, one question: is it Black Hand? They can't build aircraft anyway.

Hmm I never tested this issue in C&C 3, but I had this same issue with designing maps and AI in Zero Hour and it caused incredible lag. Did EA at least fix that?
