There's a vid of the F-22 at the Farnborough Airshow filmed with a thermal cam... Given that IRST is a must on all modern fighters (as well as ground scanning IRST for ground attack) it certainly begs the question as to just how effective the the minimized RCS of an F-22 would be in a knife fight.
Considering that vid was made at an AIR SHOW, where you knew where the Raptor would be, I'm not too worried! Finding something when you know where to look, and finding something when you don't even know it's there are two ENTIRELY different ball games! I'm also guessing that was vidded down low, where the friction made the aircraft's skin warm? In the altitudes the fighting would normally take place, one would not have that advantage! All in all, I think the Raptor's safe for a few more years!

The F-22 is one expensive sniper.
