Are you a 3D artist? Are you looking for some inspiration? Do you just want to collaborate or know who your fellow ModDB artists are? Doesn't matter what application you use or how you do it... if you're a modeller, animator, skinner or looking at getting started with 3D, then this is the group for you!

They all look great! One question, if thats the trigger, where does the thumn go?
To the side, you could say it's a mix between a hunting rifle and a crossbow. =P
haaha so true
haha a simple neat model! i like the idea of hunting rifle... the texture also clean :P maybe you would like to make it more metal looking?
Good idea :) but maybe it's not made out of metal, I had thought abou it myself and I'm sure that in the future, there will be loads of new materials and other cool stuff.
Just one question:
How are you supossed to grab the trigger? I mean, come one! Grab that diagonal thing over there and put your finger? I'm trying to do the movement in that position and it's impossible, nice model, but... I don't think it will work. Unless some boneless creature ala Cthulhu uses it O.o
"Come one"? XD
I told you that design wouldn't work man.
Yeah, I was just woking up when I posted lol. I just don't see it, it's way to... awkward?
lol, I made this based upon something I build for real (out of wood and paper) a few years ago. The basic shape is the same only this model is a lot cooler. Trust me, it's fully possible to hold it and fire it. ;)
It is possible if you break your arm! What are you going to do? Grab the whole thing? Man, its impossible... unles your hand can grab the whole weapon or you shoot by just putting your finger, but the recoil could torn you to pieces. That ain't cool D:
Hmn... With recoil maybe, but holding it normally is actually quite comfortable. :D
ahh sorry mate! i just realize it... because you said its hunter rifle, this kind of holder would do: Moddb.com (i borrow a pic from UKGameDev :P)... that would do!
Ah you mean like that. That's abother way to make it, yes.
