I was trying around in 3D (3DSMax) and this came out of it :P
It has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much polygons and triangles though.
Going to try if i can model it more efficiently next time

- over 34000 triangles

Hmm i now see that MeshSmooth adds ALOT of polys and triangles xD
Without smoothing it has:
- 8580 triangles
- 4329 polygons
Well i remodeled it. It looks exactly the same but has alot lower poly and triangle count.
With MeshSmoothing it has:
16416 triangles
8208 polygons
Without it has:
1008 triangles
522 polygons
I can post a new picture if needed :P
Holy crap that's still a lot of tri's. In a game engine you'd want to cut that down to like 50, max. You'd fake it with a cylinder and a decent texture.
yea, no more than 50 for a game, in a movie u can stick to maximum 1000 and have an amazing result, so.. ^^ looks cool though, texture is a bit undetailed in the front but its still good^^
