Are you a 3D artist? Are you looking for some inspiration? Do you just want to collaborate or know who your fellow ModDB artists are? Doesn't matter what application you use or how you do it... if you're a modeller, animator, skinner or looking at getting started with 3D, then this is the group for you!
an exact copy of my bow, except for colours.
wat do use think?
The pulleys look like Spheres - also, the handle part looks really huge.
I don't have an opinion about the sight, since I never use them except a try or two.
Good job, overall.
thank you, the pullys are flat i assure you lol but i get ur point the render and texture does make them look like a sphear, but how would i fix that? the handle isnt original, and the sight is exactly the same as mine ( without the level and led light ) thanks for your comments
nice, is blender easy to use?
Very easy to use
As a native 3DS Max user, I wouldn't say that. I find it very hard to adapt the modeling flow of Blender due to heavily based macro interface. Blender is well known for not being user friendly at first glance. Once its intensive interface is mastered then you'll have no sweat when it comes to modeling anything.
Anyone who's used Blender extensively will say its easy, but to a complete newbie, its no joke.
ok lets make that a little more understandable for anyone who doesnt no wat all that stuff was, blender IS easy to use, once you get used to it. but i do sugest blender because it is a brilliant program and FREE ( and i find it easier to use than 3ds max) just wats a few tuts on youtube and u will be on your way in notime
I understood perfectly what he said, it's very difficult to get to grips with blender when using max all this time.
Have you ever heard about Blender 2.5?
thats wat im using blender 2.55
