i start playing stalker in 2008.. then i tried with mods in 2012..
i'll never beat this game (you know, in an emotional way) desu...
It is the sad truth...if you look at the front page of this group, you see the statement which maybe led to this comic :D
"Gamers" nowadays call themselves "tough pros", because they have "so much experience" in FPS games...I agree, the First Person is the most realistic perspective available in computer gaming. If it comes to horror games (like STALKER...to some degree at least), or games where your actions have CONSEQUENCES (a word so-called gamers never seem to have heard in their entire life), they just mess up. It seems nobody can handle the fact that NPC's in STALKER-like games aren't there for your gun, but for your further in-game progress! Especially our generation it seems, ever seen a 15 year old playing STALKER (Except me 2 years ago, or LoNer...but that's another story)? Well, it even goes that far that people join the ARMY while thinking they KNOW everything about guns and shooting!

The picture's funny, yes, but shouldn't we try to educate the people you're talking about, instead of basically implying that they're braindead *****? You were at that stage too, and it took some time and dedication to get past it. If you want your idea of a good game to become more popular, you should explain it to people. If they don't get it or don't care, leave them alone, you're not going to change their mind, and it's their opinion, just like you have yours.
You can't educate them...we are behind that stage, too. Don't forget that! Once you get into habits, you can't change it from one day to another, and gamers are naturally lazy.
You're right, it makes no difference if we keep saying that they're dumb...was only a statement of mine!
