Yes, most commonly populated by loners or bandits, in some cases there are zombies or monsters :D Pretty 50/50 what you encounter there, even silence could be.
Well I wouldn't want to go there at night when the fire is suspiciously extinguished... Zombies might've just thought to take a nap there...
Zombies never take a nap, you should know that :D But roaming around at night is always especially creepy. You should avoid that!
Yeah well they may not take a nap...but they make some think that they take a nap! And yeah well...I once went to the Dark Valley's bandit camp to rescue some stalker, then a bloodsucker appeared out of nowhere... Not going to hunt at night without a good nightvision anymore...
