Title says it all, fixes the artifact activation mod by coldsnake, see description for details.
The artifact activation mod is entirely done by coldsnake, I found this wanting to try it out as it seemed cool (and it is) however the mod had a fatal flaw, while it was advertised as being made for vanilla SoC it wasn't, the fireball artifact mesh file references a shader only found in SWTC 2.0 Silver Edition... which is all but impossible to bloody find a download link for.
I have patched the fireball mesh file so the mod does indeed now actually work instead of making SoC CTD. Uploaded the full mod not just the fix so you can just extract and play. -ketxxx
How the mod works:
- Double click artifact as normal to attach it to your belt when your pistol slot is full, otherwise drag and drop artifact to belt.
- If you want to "activate" artifacts empty pistol slot then double click a artifact, hold down mouse button until artifact is dropped. Think of them as working like land mines.
- If you have a empty pistol slot but want to attach a artifact to your belt just drag and drop to the belt.
Thank you so much for making this fixed version of the mod! Using artifacts to create anomalies is a really fun feature that makes the less powerful artifacts have a use other than selling them.
When I discovered coldsnake's mod that made artifacts have proper 1st person model I was delighted, until I discovered that fireball artifacts crashed the game, so thank you for solving that problem!
