VT Ace Squadron remakes Thread - Vector Thrust

I tried to make a more flashy version of the 'Dreamers' squadron F-15U.

I do like how it appears more personalized than Aggressor-styled as it normally does. I would also say give Amber a try or alternatively Karminrot.

Ah yes, the Dreamers. Personally I fought on a side to get their name changed, but I stepped down from that seeing as how feckless it was.

Anyway, speaking as a Legionnaire, they're a poster boy squadron for the Jerny Air Force. An actual multirole squadron that was in combat with the NAA during a conflict ten years ago or so. I only know of them because that conflict almost became relevant to the Legion... Or did it? I was a new guy back then.

Anyway, the Dreamers are more than pretty faces, they gave the top aces in the NAA a run for their money during the initial commencement of hostilities. The rest is history.

On second thought I keep looking at that skin and thinking it would look better with a gray or black background.

Why are they called dreamers anyway?

Part of me says that they're known that because they are Dreamy~

I originally made it with a black background actually, but I decided to go with blue instead, I thought the black didn't really look right.

Try purple, it's complementary to the yellow and analogous to the blue.

I just realized:

The original version looks like it belongs in Ace Combat. Just apply aircraft manufactured stenciles, some numbers, roundels, and throw a squad emblem on the tail.

The remade version looks a good bit Air Force Delta Strike-like. Just apply an ABSURD amount of logos, texts, and other almost meaningless things.

I want to keep the blue for it because I didn't feel like black worked too well and purple seems to be straying a bit far from the original Dreamers skin. I'm working on Amber right now, I'm finding it a lot more difficult for some strange reason. I also like the Nineball and Karminrot idea, I think I could make something interesting out of them.

Just try to stray away from Monliya. John_Silver, another forum dude, made that. He's mostly gentle, but I don't think he'll really like it tooooo much.
