Some time ago, I saw gameplay footage of Air Conflicts: Vietnam. Needless to say, it looks like one of the worst attempts to cash in on arcade-style sims. At a glance, it may look nice, but the gameplay looks really boring. It's lacking in the music department, the majority of the sound effects are generic at best, voice acting is bland and there are historical accuracies 'round [The US begins sending airpower during the early sixties? Before the Gulf of Tonkin Incident? Please].

Custom VT campaigns [when and if I can get ahold of this game during the early release] that could involve anything Vietnam-related are better than this! And I'll probably settle until my copy of the boardgame Phantom Leader Deluxe as well as Huey Leader come out...

NOTE: This is the actual thread, the second one is ACCIDENTAL SPAM! I didn't mean to do that!
