Organized Game Nights (and days) Thread - Vector Thrust

We really needed one of these. So, I decided to make it.

Alrighty, just throw in when you're often online, and maybe plan out fighting days. Rules should be displayed.

I'm normally online most of the day, though, because school's about to start, on weekdays, I'll be on during the later parts of the day - expect to find me at around 5-10PM EST. If you find a lonely guy being lonely and is named "Stinger", then join in and let's fight.

on work days (usually thurs-saturday) i can usually be online from 10-11pm EST.

During workdays you'll mostly find me at round 8 to 10 PM Paris time. During the weekends, it's probably in the afternoon hours.

Well any time after 6pm GMT/BST would be good for me. Just hit me up on Steam.

We should practice at Airshowing.

For now, I've decided we'll do this in F-22X Cyberdaggers.

A formation of 6 airplanes will be used, in a Blue Angels-esque format; 4 in a diamond formation, and the other 2 as solo demonstrators.

If this goes well and we have fun(!), then I may host more.

(If you want to participate, you must have the F-22X unlocked. I have a Steam guide on that; refer to it if you need.)

The following slots are open:

-Flight One (Diamond Formation: Co-ordinated stunts)

2. Empty
3. Empty
4. Stinger AKA szboudreau01 AKA me

-Flight Two (Solo flyers: cross-over flybys and solo maneuvers)

• Empty
• Empty

Flight one is flying in a Diamond formation, unless permitted to break. All pilots in this flight must listen to their commander.

Flight two will fly on their own. Noone's a leader here. You don't have to listen to your fellow pilot in here, but I'd still recommend it for a better experience. Flight one may want to do a formation of 6; if so, their captain will call Flight two to form up. Listen to Flight one's captain untill they let you free again.

You should plan your maneuvers beforehand. Share maneuver sheets if you wish, though if noone else likes it, you should consider not using that sheet.

Mics would be nice. You all can start a voice chat room. I'll join in that if so, but do not expect me to say much. I'm terrible at leadership, and as such, would rather listen than speak.
Noone's obligated to use a mic, though if you're lead, then I garantuee it, using a mic is so much more conveniant than the slooow chat system. Flight Two never has to manage the flight, so mic there is completely optional.

Lemme know what ya think bout this plan. Any adjustments etc you want, I can do.

I made a spreadsheet for us to use to plan out gaming nights.
Simply make a duplicate of the Template sheet and enter in your availability according to the key, then rename the sheet to match your IGN.

Hey if you don't mind asking around and see if anybody want's to do a large scale Vector Thrust TDM tonight (between 6pm and 12midnight GMT, time still pending).

Because I need at least 6 more players (two slots are already reserved, me and someone else), the more players the better to be honest.
Also no user made/custom content rule is in effect. I'll be using the Vector Thrust community chatroom on Steam to plan it all.

Well the VIP won't be appearing until 9pm GMT anyhow. But matches before that are welcome.

I am in. Though I might only play one ot two matches, depending on how much I lag.
