For quite some time, on both of my DOS and Amiga emulators, I've been playing this particular sim from the early 90's. It could be best classified as semi-realistic, considering that some weapons can only be used on certain targets while you can set the flight to realistic. You could keep playing until the enemy force had lost all of their air and land forces or have that happen to you. You could play as either Side A [NATO] or Side B [Warsaw Pact], with all the current aircraft plus some retired/canceled aircraft plus prototypes of the time. The DOS version allowed for inflight refueling, while the Amiga version had three terrains to choose from and superior sound quality. Have any of you guys seen this? Edited by: SuperHunterX |

ye, man. For some stupid reason I can't run it on FS-UAE ;_; On the other side, this is basically a spiritual predecessor of Jane's ATF (also by EA). -- anon wrote: 'anon' wrote: Now I shall use this 'Vector Thrust Threshold' to measure how awful your product is |

I can get it running through WinUAE, it's just that I can't make a good roster disk to save my pilots - which forces to me to use savestates. Not just ATF, but also USNF '94 + Marine Fighters, USNF '97 [w/the Vietnam War campaign] and ATF: NATO Fighters. Although the some of the realism is extremely skewed - F-14's able to use anti-ship missiles and other warbirds capable of handling weapons they weren't assigned to, including Hellfires. -- "Too much fire gives birth to nothing." - Gol, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind |

Do you think ATF/USNF even realistic? You can kill an air target with AGMs. -- anon wrote: 'anon' wrote: Now I shall use this 'Vector Thrust Threshold' to measure how awful your product is |
