I've just set up a new wiki for Vector Thrust. My reason for doing this is that the old wiki only has one bureaucrat/admin, and he deleted his account from all of Wikia, which locks out everyone from being able to do anything useful in the administration side. So, instead, I've taken it upon myself to make a new wiki and remain active to listen to everyone's suggestions on how we can make this an awesome wiki for this game. If you have an account on the old wiki, or an account on Acepedia, or an account anywhere else on Wikia, you can use that to log into the new wiki. Also, I've enabled the forums, so everyone asking for forums separate from Steam or ModDB can use the new wiki to kill two birds with one stone! I think compiling all of the information on the aircraft, ships, ground vehicles, and special weapons available to us right now will be able to keep us busy until Early Access release. TS, if you'd like to be an administrator on the wiki, I'd be happy to bring you up. I'm not looking to make anyone else an administrator yet, but it's something I will definitely look forward to doing when the game progresses, because my attention is more needed at Acepedia than on this wiki. But I felt like taking the initiative if no one else would. |

For now I think we should just focus on getting all the info from and up to the latest Alpha build sorted first before the EA build is release to the public. Edited by: mittsommerschnee -- Noli Timere Messorem

I've been thinking about this ever since, how about making a subforum here to "compile" data about planes/units that either has been revealed in the previous report, or is in-game but hasn't been revealed yet/WIP, just like how ES2.0/ES3.0 got its 'encyclopedia' subforum? -- anon wrote: 'anon' wrote: Now I shall use this 'Vector Thrust Threshold' to measure how awful your product is |

Thanks SlyCooperFan1! But at least at the moment I’m not interest in be part of the administration. Also the game as quite of few hidden elements and references, some more noticeable than others, I think it is more fun to leave you guys speculate without interference. |

Haha, alright thanks I do wish at least one person would bother to do anything on there, though... I don't know anything about the units in the game. Everyone else seems to know so much. |

^I'd have a look at some of the previous reports if you haven't already, Sly. It's a good start. |

The reports at this point are better for unit image acquisition than taking its information. By now, there are surely changes to loadouts of existing units and their stats with the addition of a formula that uses physical traits to calculate performance stats. It would only be extra work to make the pages that we can now, only to have to edit them on EA release. |

They still provide good information about the units themselves and how each variant differs from each other. For example: "The Mirage F1CR is a reconnaissance variant and it is fitted with a new radar capable of terrain mapping." As far as I can see, the reports don't provide much information on plane stats or load outs anyways. |

The game will help you out a bit with this. Me and TS kicked around something akin for this for VT:
This'll be something we'll talk about a bit after the EA gets out, but a this'll help build the world while not interfering with people who don't mind not knowing who they're killing. |

Previous reports did for loadouts. Usually, when showing weapons, it would mention the aircraft or vehicle it was designed for. For stats, you can get the values out of the unit's .ini file. Considering the stats are very likely going to change drastically, the current information is unreliable (until the new version) with the exception of report images. Anything for descriptions are taken out of the game, which are also found in the .ini files for each unit. Edited by: SpootKnight |

Let me start over, since people think I'm doing this by myself for myself. *ahem* Hello, everyone! I'm the admin at Acepedia. I decided to create a new wiki for Vector Thrust because the old one has one admin who has deleted his account. However, even though I have set up the wiki for everyone to edit, I cannot actually do anything myself because of the following reasons:
If I find the time to help out, I'll try my best. But here you go, guys. Good luck! But like I said, if no one is interested, just say the word and I'll ask Wikia to delete the wiki. Edited by: SlyAceZeta |

Forgive my thought process, Spootknight. I was given the impression from sly that he urgently wanted pages to be made and there are units released in the reports that are not in the latest alpha build. Seeing as the EA hasn't come out yet, you wouldn't be able to get the information on those units yet. Also, from when I last checked, many of the units have the exact same description in the alpha build and we will have to wait at least until the EA release to have that changed. So if anyone wishes to start adding pages of units, the reports are a good start to get descriptios until the EA has been released. |
