Hi community, I'm Fulcrum-F. It's nice to see you all

I saw the capability in this game to create your own campaign. I'm really excited to use this feature and create my own storyline, however I would like to ask some suggestion from you. The story that I like to make is of course has has a great deal of influence from ace combat

The story of course as usual of ace combat, starting with two different nation having a war, there are some corporation behind the scene, a new rebellion force, and perhaps mixed with intervention of peacekeeping force. However I definitely need some suggestion of the reason behind the war.

To make things different, I would like to make the main character (the playable character) is not from military background. My idea is a college/research student of aerospace engineering, who reads a lot of books and know how to fly a plane (let's just say he is a genius). With having no military background and having young age, I would like to make the character starts from very naive so he doesn't know what it means to obey the order. (I know it feels like anime cliche but I would also want to hear your opinion).

The campaign may not have a story branch, but I would like your suggestion about this.

If you think this is relevant, flagship aircraft (aka canon fighter for main character) is Mig-29OVT. Why? I see most rebels in the stories always use Fulcrums for some reason, therefore I choose the most advanced variant to be able to cope up with modern air superiority fighter. I would like a suggestion about his archnemesis aircraft, but I will not use the fictional aircraft that is offered by Vector Thrust (Fictional variant of real aircraft is still acceptable)

I would like to hear your suggestions, and perhaps in the future I will still need your help. Nice to meet you guys!

The Archnemesis' aircraft in my mind would be either a Su-47 or a J-31. Both of those warbirds are pretty formidable...

Consider moving this to the campaign subforum. In response to your questions about the start of the war, it might be helpful to look at how wars started in real life- territorial disputes, economic reasons, all this sort of stuff.

Okay, sorry if I post in wrong forum, since this is still a rough idea, I thought it won't deserved in campaign subforum, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you for archnemesis suggestion, but I won't take Su-47 since that will be russian aircraft vs russian aircraft (The story will be not on the real earth, but still). As for J-31, is it in the game already?

It's confirmed, but still WIP so far.

Fulcrum-F, I too, am in the process of creating my own world and campaign. More or less about an Air Force and Navy rookie's respective grind through the experience of a pilot when an international conflict erupts unexpectedly.
