Description:
Izdelie 9.21 1
The first of the four prototypes, onboard number 201, built by Yuktobanian Central Institute of Applied Aerodynamics (Yuktobanskiy Tsentral'niy Institut Prikladnoy Aerodinamiki, Юктобанский Центальный Институт Прикладной Аэродинамики - ЮЦИПА) featured COFFIN version 1.0 similar to the one used on ADF-01 and YR-99. The device consisted of combination multiple ultra-high resolution video cameras and IR-sensors. Beside the new cockpit the aircraft received different tailfins, wing shape and improved airbrake.
Izdelie 9.21 2
The most changes of the second prototype, onboard number 202, was focused on improving the COFFIN cockpit. The multiple camera array was replaced by Omnidirectonal Multipurpose Sensor array, that was not only capable of receiving the image in visible and IR-spectrum, but also sensitive to radar waves and other forms of electromagnetic radiation. The system also featured early model of ENSI technology, effectively making the cockpit an equivalent of COFFIN 2.0 despite some of its electronic components being inferior to those of COFFIN 2.0.
Izdelie 9.21 3
Izdelie 9.21 #3, onboard number 203, was created in cooperation with Yuktobanian electronics\software developer Axe&Hammer (yk: Топор и Молот). The segmented sensor array was replaced by COFFIN 3.0-standard Omnidirectional Sensory Coating, that allowed for truly seamless sensor field, as well as full implementation of ENSI neural control link. ЮЦИПА provided the airframe with new, more powerful engine and hi-end radar, cable of long range detection and tracking of low-RCS targets.
Worth noting that #203 had seen some limited combat deployment, during a crisis in Republic of Kaluga, where the attempt of recreation of Z.O.E. AI system went out of control. The Kalugan military was not able to handle the escaped AI controlled drone and requested the assistance from UYR. In response the task force, that included #203 piloted by [CLASSIFIED] was sent to intercept the Z.O.E. drone (codenamed "Z.O.E. Rebel") . The first combat test proven more than successful as the pilot of #203 was able to shoot down the Z.O.E., despite the engagement taking place on speeds and high-g turns that human body is not well-prepared to handle. The pilot was forced to eject the aircraft, as he was losing consciousnesses and was later picked up by SAR team and delivered to hospital. [CLASSIFIED] sustained heavy injuries to his blood vessels due to overstressing his body, but has made complete recovery and continued to serve in YAF until retirement.
That event has cemented YAF decision of mass production of 9.21 series that was officially designated MiG-33.
Izdelie 9.21 4
To replace the lost #203 on international air shows, the fourth and final prototype, onboard number 204, was built soon after. This model is almost technically identical to #203, except the inclusion of autopilot system, capable of determining physical state of pilot and disengaging from combat and landing the aircraft in the event of pilot losing consciousness. On Usean International Air Show of 2034 it, along with the footage of #203's battle against the Z.O.E. "Rebel", was noticed by the representative of UPEO. The first four UPEO variants designated MiG-33 Special Service (MiG-33SS) were supplied in 2037.
Note: the production index of 9.21 and the #203 are obviously references to one great anime movie. Interestingly enough there's a real MiG-92 9.21, which is also a test bed for advanced electronics (though not as advanced, as ENSI-COFFIN system).

Lemme guess...Area 88? Is the unit 1 was based on Shin Kazama's F-20 paintjob? I don't know what unit 2 is based from though, but unit 3 and 4 are obviously based from Blue Angels and Ustio F-15 respectively.
Not being a weeaboo I thought #203 was based off of Stealth. XD
Still suspiciously reminds me of Blue Angels paint job somehow ._.
Or perhaps I was high.
Oh, come on, guys.
